Do we really understand the fragility of Life?

Have we ever thought of consequence and all the Strife?

So we can run around in cars and have our pretty things

Have you ever thought of all the pain we Human’s bring?

Have you ever considered just how you’d feel if orphaned you were left

As your mother became a trophy with her skin stripped from her chest?

Did you never spare a thought for the Ocean and her depths?

A dumping ground for all our waste no longer we respect,

 

And have you thought how hard it is to find enough to eat

When driven from your home

Have you ever wondered how far that you would roam?

And did you never think as the Ice melts in your drink

Of the Polar Bears home that in the Ocean sinks..

 

 

It’s time to understand that we cannot turn away

For we are each responsible for the world we live today

We humans have tipped the scales as we destroy with tools of greed

It’s time to re-awake and replant a caring seed.

In Tribute to Children Everywhere who die needlessly through  Violence, Abuse,  in the home, Starvation in various places   and  War. in various Lands .. 

Its happening every day everywhere to our CHILDREN…

When are WE going to CHANGE OUR WORLD?

Its Everyone’s..Responsibility

We are ALL of us Responsible..

Wake up People to who we have become!.. and ask yourselves this question.

What kind of a World do you want to live in the Future.What kind of a world do we want our children to grow up in?

Embrace Peace and Unity within your own hearts and start and live from your hearts in Joy and love not from Fear and Anger.

Lets stop our Hatred of one another, our Judgements and Prejudices, our Greed and Control,

Lets stop condemning society and remember

WE are the Society.. We are the Community…

We need to start and live as ONE.. For your pain is My pain. 

Its up to YOU-ME- I- ALL-  EVERYONE of us to want to change this world to embrace each other in a world built on Love and Harmony.

It begins NOW in each of our Hearts.

Have you see the film Happy Feet?

Did it not make you smile and laugh.. Well here is your chance to do a little dancing of your own, and help a few Penguins along the way and you don’t even have to move from your arm-chair… All you have to do is feel the beat of Nature in your heart and click your fingers and your mouse.

Something was on my mind last night.. I couldn’t sleep, So I wrote the poem below as I thought about the Antarctic Ocean under threat, I support Avaaz in many of their campaigns of human rights and environmental issues so I will just use their words here as “The whales and penguins can’t speak for themselves, so it’s up to us to defend them. Let’s change negotiators’ minds with a massive wave of public pressure — Avaaz will surround the meeting with hard-hitting ads, and together we’ll deliver our message to delegates via a deafening cry on social networks.”

So Lets apply the pressure!…

A World of Taboo.

Today I sat out in the sun enjoying the Sun and Peacefulness of my garden, as Summer graced my day… I am always sending out my gratitude and thanks to the Universe for all I have in my life.

Many around our world are not so fortunate, and my thoughts turned to all those Nations  caught up with wars as innocents die, while just as many turn a blind eye.

I thought of those in other places, where they starve for lack of food and water..And my thoughts too went to the recent insane shootings in the USA. This world has so much turmoil and conflict. And yet here I was surrounded by Peace!..

I thought how many young children are having to fend for themselves as they are orphaned or abandoned around our world, their plights go unheard and unnoticed. And my heart wept in silent tears for all the Children of our World.. So out came my note book and pen… as I wrote this poem today.. As I thought how lucky we are…. and how many Children of our world Suffer.. And all of them need our Love..

The Time for Children

Mellow days lasing in the Sun

With gentle breeze Summer’s just begun

With meadow fields, and flowers wild

I sit with memories of a child.

Climbing hills and running fast

A childhood day forever lasts

Of tastes and smells and smiles of glee

If only a child we all could be.

To see the Earth with eyes anew

And trust the world not to be taboo

Where danger lurks around every bend

I wish the Universe a child could send

To show us where our race went wrong,

And bring back the Spirit of innocence song

Where children laughed and were unafraid

To respect and care throughout our days

But sadly we seem to have lost our way

Where no one listens to words we say

Respect is forfeited only for Gold

And Human life is bought and sold

And as mellow as my day is here in the Sun

I know of others sorrow because of the Gun

As innocent blood is spilled on ground

While my heart weeps in the silence of sound

Where are our hearts? Where have they gone?

What happened to our Children that grew up with Gun?

Enjoy every moment before it’s too late

Teach only love and let go of the hate

Remember the Children they are our Future too

And all are special including you

So nurture our Children and show them the way

Teach them to Love, and respect everyday

So as they grow older they won’t be so sad,

Knowing life dealt them harshness in a world that turned bad.

And someday they may sit and reflect as I do

On a World full of love instead of taboo.

Do you want to Heal The World ?

Will you Join with me in sending out your thoughts for

World Peace.

On June 6th, as it is a World Peace Day .

 Credo Mutwa’s Call for a World Peace Day. Credo Mutwa is a Wisdom Keeper of the African Nations. He is entrusted with Ancient History of Humanity and with Keys to our Transition into the Age of Light. He is a High Shaman of the Zulu People.

Upon this day many around the world will be adding their prayers for the Worlds Progression into Peace. This is to coincide with the Transit of Venus that is travelling across the face of the Sun, which will for some around the world begins in the Western Hemisphere on Tuesday afternoon of the 5th of June, and in the Eastern Hemisphere Wednesday Morning of the 6th June. 

Venus is helping open the feminine energies, and is helping to clear a path through to our hearts that will help bring about the new phase of the cycle of our Transcendence in this time of Earth Changes.  She will appear as a small black dot as she crosses the Sun’s Path, And the Transit will last in total around 6 hours from the Western Pacific, Eastern Asia, to Eastern Australia .

We each of us feel a shift within our Consciousness as we feel we are now at the brink of that Change.. Each of us know that our way of living within the Modern Day world is changing. We feel it, and sense it. We cannot keep on eating away at our Earth Mother.. And we cannot keep destroying her or ourselves.

Now is the time to join together in Unity of thought.

And envisage a World of Peace for our Next Generations to come.  

It is now the time to Shift our Awareness from Self to encompass ALL of Creation. As we send out our Prayers  and thoughts for World Peace., and to Mother Earth.

So Join me in sending out our Love to Heal the World on June 6th 2012.

We owe it to our Children and Grandchildren. Our United thoughts hold the Power to

Earth Day~ Thoughts

Mother Earth

Earth Day  Is a day for us all to remember and share in the celebration of what our Earth Mother gives to us.. and how we can take better take care of our environment.  I have included a slide of photo’s of some of the wonderful Gifts we have been given and spectacular beauty she surrounds us with. I also some time ago, wrote a poem on how much we pollute our Earth Mother, the poem was inspired by a major oil spill into her Oceans..

Remember the Gifts of Mother Nature and All of those whom you cherish and hold dear in your life.. Remember that each Breath we breathe..

 She gives us each breath..

Remember to love her and respect her..

For she gives us Life

Earth Mother

Black is the ocean, as the liquid gold spills

Black is the feathers choking seabird bills

Black is the day we pollute another shore

And Black is my heart as it aches with her sores..

Earth Mother, oh Earth Mother, we abuse you so

We ruin your waters, we ruin your glow..

Earth Mother, Oh Earth Mother, help us to see

How each hurt we inflict, hurts You and Me..

Tell me this, tell me true,

Why is man destroying You?

I hold onto your beauty, I hold onto your Light

Why do they not see the hurt of your plight?

The blackness is greed, which now spills from your depths

The seas of darkness, like hovering debts

Each is a mirror, in the conscious thought

Many not caring and think of you naught

My heart bleeds with you, I hear your cries

You weep endlessly from your skies

You howl and scream and belch out smoke

You shake us and rattle and blew as you spoke

But do we listen? To your words of woo

No we humans.. We think we know..

But soon your scorn, your wind and your storms

Will devour us, and leave us with no form.

And then our lament will wail like your Winds

Our Maker will show us the price of our sins

And our Earth Mother will cry, in her birthing pains

As yet another end-cycle begins again……

Join the World in Unity of Thought.

I have just come from Vision Keepers  Blog and read about a Global event staged for Saturday 21st of January 2012 at 5pm GMT to send out our thoughts and prayers for World Peace and Unity.. Details of which can be found here  where by you can visualise a world  in which we want to live.. In beauty harmony and peace..

If you remember for the date the 11:11:11 I also asked  for your support in adding your thoughts for a Meditation Prayer to be send out, which can be found Here 

So I ask that where ever you are in the world,, You can use the words on the links or choose your own simple thoughts of Peace, Love, harmony and Unity to add your Light into our World..

For it is the INTENT that our Thoughts are sent out.. Not the exact words… Our Intentions of thought are what generates the energy… So we need to generate, Love, Unity, Peace and Harmony.

What sort of a world do we want to pass down to our Children… We want a Peaceful World, A World Free from Fear and Tyranny, We want to see our Planet our Earth Mother cared for as she cares for us, as she gives us our very Breath…

We need to start and live from our Hearts and care for each other,, It is up to us… NOW to realise that we cannot let this world carry on in the same way… Full of Hate.. Greed,  Control and Fear..

This is a Post Please help a George that touched my heart from Learning from Dogs Blog I have had Paul’s kind permission to repost his blog post here.. I am sure that to everyone who has had  a friend and companion in the animal kingdom know how much Good work the animal shelters do around the world in re-homing unloved abused and neglected Animals.

I would like to help support Paul in his endeavours of bringing  Barnsley Animal Rescue  Shelter ‘s Charity event into the lime light ..Details of which you can read below..

I will be sending my own donation to help ..

 

And for my subscribers who live around the globe I am sure you have a Dog Pound near you who may need a little thought and a some help in some way to keep their doors open to help save  those unfortunate animals that some humans in our society treats so badly.

A canine charitable opportunity that deserves wide support.

The details that follow strike a chord with me, strike a chord in a big way.  When I first came to live with Jean back in 2008 it was clear that this wasn’t going to be a normal relationship.  Why?  Because, at that time Jean had 12 dogs living with her in San Carlos, Mexico and my arrival, together with my Shepherd dog, Pharaoh (see home page for a picture of him), took that number to 13.  Jean’s dogs were all Mexican rescues; she also ran her own local humane society in San Carlos and over the years had found homes for literally dozens of dogs.

One of those Mexican rescues was a dog called Loopy, who had been terribly treated by local Mexicans.  The consequence when I arrived, a stranger in the middle of Loopy’s life with Jean, was that Loopy was very aggressive towards me; my hands have small scars to bear witness to the number of nips Loopy launched in my direction.

It took over a year before I was able to just let my hand ‘accidentally’ brush her side.  Slowly Loopy’s trust in me built up until now I can press my face to her face and cuddle her for ages.  (To underline the love that Loopy bestows on me, I will get Jean to take a picture and publish that before the end of the week.)  So with that in mind, let me turn to the details recently sent to me by friend and colleague, Dapinder Singh, from England.

George and loving owner, Ian.

This is George. He was in an English dog pound and condemned to death.

He had been very badly abused, one eye blinded by what was thought to be a kick, he trusted no-one and had rejected all human contact.  He was desperate and in despair.

After an exhaustive search for anyone who take on the rescue of George, we (as in Doris Banham) took him into our care just a day before he was due to be euthanased.  His veterinary problems were easier to deal with than the mental ones.  His eye was damaged beyond repair causing him constant pain so it had to be removed, teaching George to trust again was much harder.

That journey back to trusting humans was long, George had suffered severe and terrible abuse,  but there was no question of giving up on him and slowly but surely he began to live again as we fought to undo the wrongs that had been done to him. After some months with us, a wonderful family came to the rescue and offered George his ‘forever’ home where he found the love that he so deserved. His family are completely devoted to him.

His story, however, could have been a very different one were it not for the work of the team at Doris Banham’s. Below is an extract written by the lovely family who adopted him and from our fantastic volunteer, Sheila, who helped bring George back to life again.

“Hi, Sheila. Here is a shot of George in his new garden. He is settling down very well and seems to be very happy. I will keep you posted as to his progress. All the best Liz and Ian.”

There were a number of photographs sent to Sheila, however I have taken editor’s liberty and moved them to the foot of the article – I want you to stay with this to the point where you can see how to help.  Here’s Sheila’s reply,
