Awakening to Consciousness

 

 

 

How do we wake up to this Consciousness?  Sometimes it’s as simple as being yourself, you can help the people in your life see how one person can make a difference by being a living example of consciousness, by embracing life without reservation. With Love and kindness.

When you communicate your views, You don’t have to be dogmatic. Allow the people to speak and allow them to ask questions. Respect their views..

We can all Ignite a spark of consciousness in others by ‘giving’.. It maybe a book, a medicine bag, or a beautiful crystal, that can get curiosity going, and prompt them to begin an exploration of the soul. I would always be handing my Spiritual books out to read.. I even sent one to Australia to help a Young woman I connected to via blog land some years ago..

Learning others how to meditate or chant or even Drum!, can put them on the path to consciousness while reducing their stress levels.

I started out exploring by joining a Meditation group and ended up running my own development group into Spiritual Awareness.. You will be amazed how many join once you reach out and who are eager to learn.

Learn to acknowledge the value in everyone you encounter, you can teach them how to value others. Sometimes, the easiest way to encourage people – even challenging ones – to respect others is to respect them first.

Casually point out how everything is interconnected and that all living beings affect the world around them by their actions.. They may become intrigued when they learn of the power they hold.

Introduce your loved ones to conscious living in a light-hearted way. Meditate, Get in touch with nature, perhaps grow your own Food, and show them how wonderful it can feel to be truly aware and connected to the universe.

And Smile…………..

I watched a TV programme on Sunday about Star gazing and a place in Northumberland where there is no light pollution in the sky.. The thousands of stars that twinkled down were phenomenal.

Since the beginning of time, humans have gazed at the stars in the night sky with awe, looking for answers and inspiration to guide them. We have grown up with stories of gods and goddesses, astrology,  and astronomy.

We have worshipped, wondered, and even projected ourselves out into space both physically and mentally  in an attempt to understand their magical essence. We know more now than we ever have about what those celestial lights are, how far away they reside. We spend Billions of $ and £’s in exploration to travel to another planet.. And yet we fail so miserably in attempting to Conserve and Protect many species  which go extinct daily. And we fail to see how we as Human Beings are destroying our very home, Planet Earth. 

Humankind is most often presented as a story about struggle, control, and survival, instead of one of trust and collaboration with the universe. Yet, in truth, we need to adhere to both ideas in this life. We need to be mindful for  on the one hand, there is much to be said about exerting control over our environment. We created shelter to protect ourselves from the elements. We hunted for animals and invented agriculture to feed ourselves.

We built social infrastructures to protect ourselves and create community. This is how we survive and grow as a civilization. However, it is also clear that there are plenty of things that we cannot control, no matter how hard we try, these are the events around our globe which bring suffering, disease and disasters.  We forget  we are supported from an unseen force – a universe that provides us with what we cannot provide for ourselves.

So as I look to the Stars I also know that we have to take on Personal Responsibility. These are the things we can control in life.  But I also know that we need to Trust in the process of the Universe.. We need to manifest our dreams and visions. When we understand our very thoughts are bringing into our physical reality that which we focus our intent upon.. So I ask you to think carefully what Drama’s you are getting caught up within.

I know its not easy, but the more we focus upon our own Lights and live within our own bubbles we are helping bring Positive Change.. It all starts from within.. And we then must Trust, let go and allow the universe to take over.

As I look at the picture below I know we can all sprinkle our various Bubbles of Light around the world.. We do it by treating each other as we would wish to be treated.. We stop buying into Gossip and spreading the woe is me stories of doom and gloom..  Yes there are horrid things happening out there.. And I am as compassionate as the next. But if I am fearful or I spread doom and Gloom.. I am only adding more Darkness to the world.. So I choose to sit in my bubble and spread a little Love and Light..

 

Bubbles Of Light

Out into space I travel afar

Gazing back down from that far away star

The light is forever within my grasp

As I watch over the changes of my past

One by one my memories fall

As downward they tumble as I hear your call

Those spheres of light are orbs of truth

Memories recalled way back in my youth

Time trickles onward like the grains of sand

Of a place and a time in a far away land

When all were happy and all were free

And when bubbles of Light

Were just you and me..

Journey Within ~Poem

Vicar’s Water. A Sanctuary for wild life

Journey Within..

Come with me on a journey it starts inside my head

Create a place to dwell from all the Fear and dread

Close your eyes and behind them create a perfect vision

Build a garden full of beauty get ready for your transition

~

Sit upon the grass as sky lark sings above

Hold out your hand to feed the many cooing Doves

See the babbling stream as the young fawn drinks her fill

And listen to the Woodpecker’s distant woodland drill

~

Watch the tiny fishes as the light glistens from their scales

You’re now adrift in the ocean, as you watch the Humpback Whales

You listen to their song a lament as old as time

Each breath takes you deeper as your Spirit begins to climb

~

Now you are on a mountain its top all crisp and white

You fly among the Eagles suspended in effortless flight

Thermals take you higher as you travel within its ring

Higher yet you travel, more peace to feel and bring

~

Through the clouds you break into outer-space you speed

Looking back at a Blue Planet which provided all your needs

Weightless and suspended no longer feeling Form

You fly around the heavens exploring each star born.

~

Filled up now with knowledge no mortal Words could speak

You return back to your garden upon your grassy seat

A new sense of Peace surrounds you as you open up your eyes

You can return in an instant, just open up your mind.

 

 

We can travel anywhere we wish when we just close our eyes and allow our mind to relax in a meditation.. Breathe deep and create your perfect space…. The above poem I wrote last week as I recollected part of a meditation.. The view I have included is one taken on a regular walk we often take..Have a fabulous week.

The Ethers of Illusion

Illusion.

What do you see in this Reality?

 

Do not your eyes view what is real to see?

 

Can you not touch the tangible fusion?

 

Or do we gaze into the ethers of illusion,

 

What trickery mocks us as we take in the lies

 

Binding our thoughts in roots of indoctrination

 

Following the herd, bleating like sheep

Held captive, half asleep.

 

What happened to the land of the Free?

 

Conform or suffer, or pay the penalty

 

What is your reality?

 

Come, let me walk you through the misty vale.

 

To where this illusion significantly pales

 

We are magnificent magicians whose thoughts cast their magic

 

Where all is possible, where to doubt is tragic

 

Seek and Find, let go of fear

 

Dance in joy as Light penetrates your sphere

 

For you have forgotten our Time’s lost spell

 

As into the abyss of darkness you dwell.

 

Open your eyes and open your hearts.

 

Let the Light dispel all dark

 

Fear nothing, hate less, and embrace ALL

 

Seek a new illusion before you fall.

 

Stop following blindly, grasp hold of Love today

 

Remember your tomorrows, forget your yesterdays

 

Reach for the memory held high up in the stars

 

And heal from within, let go of all your scars

 

Sit in the silence; begin to know who you are

 

As illusion drifts away revealing Ancient Stars

 

Your time is but a moment, live each moment well,

 

For soon the illusion shatters, broken like a spell.

I resurrected this poem which I published 4 years ago.. As it seems we are bombarded on all sides from the negative energies which are being put out.. 

Detach and spend some time in your Quite zones of thought.. Bring in the Peace around you, and know that we are Magnificent BEings who have remarkable powers..

We are the ones creating the chaos… So choose to create Peace.. Don’t allow yourselves to get caught up within the Fear being put out.. 

Know your time is but a moment, Live each moment well

I just want to wish everyone who has commented and follows me a wonderful weekend. And to say my how time flies by. Today I got my alert from WP to say its now been 4 yrs since I transferred my whole blog from Windows Live Spaces. I first started blogging in 2007.

I am happy to say I have several firm friends who also started out life on WLS and who transferred their blogs when it closed. You all know who you are.. And I thank you for being within my Blogging World. Your continued friendship is a blessing. 

During my time as a blogger I have met the most wonderful friends here on WP from all corners of the world. You are the ones who have made my WordPress blogging experience what it is.. We really feel like family.. 

Thank you all of you who are regular visitors and commentors here. And not so long ago I was over the moon at having 500 followers I just looked in my side bar and it now stands at 598..  So to all of those who are recent subscribers I hope you find lots of topics to your interests here. And Welcome!. Harvesting the Sun.

I promised I would share a little of what I have been up to over last month.. I have enjoyed painting, cooking, gardening, preserving, and reading, several books  in the lazy warmth of Summer’s Sun as it winds down to the cooler days of Autumn..

 I just want to add how you all also bring your warmth and glow of Sunshine to my day.. Some I have yet still to catch up.. others I have already said hello to.. And I wish to welcome all the new subscribers who have clicked the follow button.. I hope you enjoy browsing among my posts..

  So below in picture format is what I have been up to.

I have been gathering in the harvest and making Elderberry Syrup, And lots of  Blackberry Jam.. I thought I had better take a photo while I still had some Jam left.. I made 12 pots in total. I have already given lots away. 

 

Soaking Elderberries. You only use the black berries not the red. I have no idea what the reflection is in the water!

Next I have enjoyed getting back into painting, and creating another Herb tub for our garden.  Apologies the picture came out blurred.

He is a Little Owl I hope my Acupuncturist likes him.. She requested a painted churn with an owl on it..

The Stream of Life~ Rowing Together.

My how time fly’s when you are having fun.. Autumn and October is here. One month gone since taking early retirement.. And hardly a day goes by without it being Full to brimming as I float along in the stream of Life.. Which led me to think of this nursery rhyme which I would often sing with my Granddaughter.

“Row,Row,Row, your boat gently down the stream,

Merrily, Merrily, Merrily, Life is but a Dream.”

English Nursery Rhyme 

‘Life is but a Dream!’.. Life is certainly what you make it. So, we who try to work in the ‘Light’ as the power’s that be try to turn out our lights with warmongering and other evil doings.. Let us flip on our  light switches and row our own boats  in the flow of life, creating our own Dreams..  Merrily, Merrily as we go!..

My recent post Planting a Seed~ A Thought touched on how we manifest and how we need to reprogram ourselves to think differently about the world.  I was so pleased as I travelled around WP how many others are tapping into that ‘Thought Stream’ of projecting balance and harmony while we are being subject to more Fear Tactics…  Jack over at Jacks Jottings, also reminded me with his wonderful post entitled Consider, Consideration how despite our differences we all can and do get on well together I hope you go and read his amazing poem.

Then there is Barbara over at Me My Magnificent Self on her reposting of the Lunar Eclipse the last being on Sept 28th. Barbara wrote on her post 2014-2015 Lunar Eclipse Cycle… A Time to be Truly Balanced.

Quote:“ It is all going to be OK… humanity is moving on… we are going to be living in each moment, experiencing new potential and have no need to go back and compare our past or project ourself in a limited and probable future anymore.”

Do the birds worry where their next meal is coming from? Yet each morning they wake and Sing their greetings to the day… Living within the Now.  I too have been living within the Now.. Letting go, moving forward in the stream of where life takes me..  I  am now waking with lighter heart  filled with gratitude as my day is only as full as I wish to make it..

The choice is always ours.. So as we grab an oar and get ready to row let us all pull together in unison as we set sail down the river of enlightenment..

We are All One.. 

I hope to share later this week how full my days have been..
