A Moments Reflection

A walk by a canal

With Kettle boiled and herbal tea just finished.  I sank into the sofa turned on some relaxing meditative music, closed my eyes and breathed in deep, pulling in that Universal energy, and sighed….. This was my time,  time to just BE and sink into those unseen realms that reside within each of us.

Behind closed eyes, tiny sparks dance in purples and blues, as I listen to the soothing music as I drink in the peace which was every bit as good as my herbal tea.

My mind has been tuning out and switching off more and more these past few weeks.   As I have been meditating and just taking myself off for quiet naps even in the middle of day. Spending time reading and painting. Just following the flow of Energy, doing what my body is telling me to do.

It is so easy to find yourself being caught up in the negative energies of the world that is being generated so that we all fall into the traps of judgement. We are often goaded to take sides against one another, be it through politics, religion, gender or race.  And its important to understand how mind manipulation is constantly programming us to divide us at every opportunity. Leading to angry outbursts, protests, and conflict, which are generating exactly the right negative conditions which prime  others to feed from them for their own world agenda’s.

I encourage all to observe. Observe what is happening and detach from it even for only a short while as you go within and heal your inner selves.

For there is nothing more important right now, than to heal yourselves, letting go of so many layers we have inadvertently cocooned ourselves within this Matrix Construct.

So when you close your eyes, and release all of that stress, and go deep within even for a moment you begin to see how all Fear falls away.  For much of our inner Fears are self-generated as we make mountains often out of mole hills.

While eyes were closed, everything fell away for me in that moment, nothing mattered, for in that moment I felt such peace as I surrendered myself to that vibration the music offered, and let my mind be still… For all is a state of mind.. We can either let the turmoil boil like stormy seas, or we can be tranquil and still as a lake..

And in that moment of reflection, I thought how simple life can be, if we would just surrender to that vibration of Peace and love.

For we are all vibration, resonating, out our thoughts which add to the frequencies which  add to the music of the world.

We can either be angry, irritated, mean with each other, discontent, like a discordant note. Or we can be calm, kind, sharing with each other and be at peace, adding our harmony into the world. At any given moment, we choose what Vibration we sent into the ether that creates either chaos or balance.

Many have forgotten how to surrender to that moment,  to go out into nature, to stop and  listen, be it the harmony of the bird song, the wind rustling in the tree tops or the music of the babbling brooks or to walk by the Ocean, listening to the rhythm  of the waves crashing upon the shore.

So in this moment of reflection, as I tumble into that silence space of thought, where I am all, and yet where I am nothing, as I surrender to that space, that vibration of peaceful harmony where I join as one with everything and yet I float alone content just to BE.

We are the Pulse of Life, and life reflects back which tune we play..

I choose harmony… even if we can only find that space for Five minutes in our day, we owe it to ourselves to find that space within, and become the Pin that drops in that moment of reflection.

So my friends Listen to that silence space within and be content with who you are, for  when you add your music to the world by the very sound of your thoughts.. and become the Pin……. We then become like that shaft of light in the gloom.. There are many of us waiting to shine our lights through the storm clouds.. And when each of us join with our hearts in love and peace, we are each of us helping to add Light into our world.

I hope you find five minutes of your time to listen to the music below and really take in what the lyrics speak of..

Much Love to you ALL..

Great words DW…That quiet space within…Interesting you should mention this as I am about to begin going to a meditation group. I have fought off meditation for years,my whole life really, probably because I live alone and so much of my time is spent in silence it feels like I am meditating all the time anyway, but I’m not….Being Gemini and I’ve been told I am almost all air except thankfully for a small bit of earth, it is very hard for me to quiet my mind. This will be a great challenge for me but something told me it was time. Timing is everything. It’s a good place to start and hopefully good things will grow from it. Thanks for the music. Yes good words and easy melody to float away in. Have a wonderful weekend and hi to Hubby…May peace and harmony be with you more and more as time goes on…Hugs and love my friend…VK ❤

My, Sue, again this goes directly to my heart. I can feel the detachment only by reading your words. I am also meditating more again and this is what I experienced too. I have to let go of all that was sticking to me over time. The moments of detachment make us aware again that we are free from anything. It is just me. I can detach from the past as I can detach from expectations and fear. The power comes back because we let go of what we don’t need and make room for who we are. I just scheduled a post in which I shared the message I received during meditation. Again, what amazing parallels in our worlds.
Have a blessed Sunday, Sue 💖

Haha… You know dear Erika, I am never surprised at what the Universe plants in our minds at similar times.. This has sat in my drafts half finished for about four days, and I tweaked it today with a little more text and uploaded a photo of recent walk.
We are all of us getting primed and ready I feel Erika… Don’t you feel it too?? we are readying again for another big shift.. ❤

    Breathe in slowly, hold. Exhale.
‘Self’ deserves all very best you can offer it. Pamper it, love it, take it for quiet walks.
Give it a squeeze now and then.
Without love of self, there cannot be love of others.
A beautiful post Dreamwalker! Have a peaceful day.

So much a great reminder of the need to take time out dear Sue, so necessary for us all. Many life forms use this time of year to go into their own period of hibernation and we imagine that it is far from our own form of getting away from it all. And yet we have our own form in our nightly times of spirit connecting with the subconsciousness and the dream time, so necessary for us humans. Your post takes us into a period of waking consciousness that drifts into another period of essential time of no thought … maybe we’ll meet there. Thank you Sue, Love, David

I washes over us and allows an inner calm which brings its own new perspective on what is important in our lives and what isn’t… I hope you continue on your meditating journey Brad and allow the Peace for begin to flow through you.. I love that you are going within. It sets an example for us all to do the same. I, too, have been doing this more lately. I have just felt that I need this. I’m setting stronger and stronger boundaries between my work and my need to rest. I smile in bliss. 🙂 I am also smiling because, very peacefully, I have meditation background music playing as I type this and feel so blissful and so calm. Ah, I come here and just feel rejuvenated. 🙂
I think of my favorite quote by Rumi: Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself. Rumi and so many others were correct. We must go within. When we find our own peace, then we can be beacons of peace elsewhere. And you, my friend, are a beacon of peace. 🙂
Sending you so many hugs on this Sunday afternoon. I hope you continue to rest and rejuvenate…and eventually share your creations with us.

Beautiful video – relaxing. Yes, silence is my friend. I do meditation out in the woods here and I went to the beach for the first time since my partner passed three years ago. I did meditate on the beach and as I walked I looked down and there was a light pink stone heart. A sign if you may. Your words become sentences in our soul and the fabric of goodness stitched in our soul as well. It is amazing what meditation can do for you.
World events we have no control over. Fear is an energy that is fed upon and gives others the power they crave and lets you become in a submissive state thus robbing us of our birthright called love. Good for you-you are able to meditate as I have heard from several people they cannot meditate. If I do deep meditation I fall asleep lol I guess there is no harm in that.
And one should familiarize themselves with the Matrix construct. I think those who are awake will know this and those who come in contact with it might be too much of a mind twist for them. All in all, meditation for oneself is excellent to rid yourself of the Bric a Brac of life and also if done to send love to others it is beneficial in lowering their unsavory activity. Be well my friend. Sending you a blanket of love.

What a beautiful sign for you in the shape of a stone heart.. Showing you that you had company on your walk.. I do not always clear the mind while meditating, I think it near impossible at times to clear one’s head.. But I bring my attention always back to breathing and I move energy around my body pushing it from one place to another, this keeps me focused and then in those wonderful moments such as the one above, I drift of and out and float above everyday niggles..
I thank you for the blanket Joseph and so enjoyed the link sent too my friend. Gregg Braden a favourite speaker of mine. Who speaks clearly with knowledge and wisdom.. Speak soon and take care.. 🙂

It is impossible to clear the mind of mind chatter it keeps going on and on while meditating. I read an article that said let your mind wander while meditating. It may be helpful in solving some problems and issues. He stated that meditating is not always trying to silence the mind it is impossible. I can see his point.
Yes it was a beautiful sign finding the stone heart. Not only the stone heart I received but I received a couple more validation that day.
Yes, I am watching a series by Gregg Braden on Gaia TV called the missing link. I am rising again

Wonderful Wendi, by just taking those few moments of deeper breathing and quiet contemplation, calming the mind and settling the body, its amazing how much difference it can make.. Even when I was busy working and would have to be out the door by 7-15am If I only did five minutes of deep breathing exercises, along with some easy QiGong movements, it made a huge difference. So pleased you are finding ways to help ease your body and mind Wendi.. YOU are the one that is doing it.. Not I… 🙂 The praise is all down to the effort you are putting in.. Stay blessed my friend and keep up the good work ❤

Wonderfully inspirational words, my friend. My move date is fast approaching and as I still have so much to do, it is tiring as well. I went Saturday to my daughter’s and she helped me paint the room into which I will be moving. It was an all day affair and as I have not been as active in the last four years as I would like to be, my fibromyalgia has been very active and will take time to settle. At my age, when I am more active than usual, it tends to affect all of my joints, muscles and tendons. But I know it will pass and I have so much more to do yet that I cannot let it nag at me. I have taken today to just rest and I see by your post you have taken to letting go and to simply be. I look forward to more of that after my move. Take care. xoxox

So important to turn inwards, reward yourself with yourself for at least a few minutes a day. The best lesson I think we can gift to ourselves is to accept and know things that are happening around us over which we have no control. We forever it seems try to change people or things that happen around us, for our peace of mind and heart, but in fact that peace comes often by realising that we cannot influence a change always to suit us…well written, Sue

Hi Steve, my painting has sat for many days as yet unfinished. As my focus has shifted a little. As for your question. If you go to your New Post, I always edit my posts by going to WP Admin scrolling down on the left from the header MY SITES, I still have use the old edit, I never committed to the new edit version.. And yes my domain is a free one too..
Then you see ADD MEDIA click on that and then it should on the left reveal a column where you can either add photos and or a gallery of photos.. And it says Insert YouTube. If you have the YouTube share code, insert into the space for it. Sometimes several videos often come up to view.. click onto the right one you want and insert it into your post..
OR you can just insert the url code into your post, it should then appear.. Give it a try and let me know if you have problems..

Hi Steve, First is the video one of yours from your computer that you wish to upload, if this is the case, then it will not let me do that either, unless I upgrade.. But you should be able to upload YouTube to your site.
If you have a YouTube channel or you create one, you can upload your home movies to their to then share to your blog.

If you are just wanting up upload from Youtube, you should be able to paste the code into your post by clicking and pasting the share code into your writing panel. I went into the writer on the above and from there I cannot paste vids either way. I always post from going into my Dashboard scroll down to Posts and Then from there post new, it’s a different format than in the write near the notification bell..
          Hope you can sort it..

I loved reading your post – it brought such soothing line after line, thought after thought. You began with as if giving me permission for what I was seeking – doing less and less, letting go of what feels like a demand and embracing what calls from a place of joy and peace. We are indeed the Pulse of life. If we continue to align the outer and the inner with the connection to the divine source there is nothing but peace and love through all that we choose and do.

Worthy advice my friend. I find myself doing lots of those moments of escape. Indeed, we are so overwhelmed by so much in the world, which becomes a chain reaction affecting us all at some point. I noticed mostly while on vacation where I spent my waking hours out in the sunshine that turning off the noise in escape was the perfect tonic. ❤ Hugs my wise friend. xxxx

Overwhelmed is the right word I think Debby, The air here is charged with discontent and it is seeping in through the walls some days you could cut it with a knife.. Being empathic one might think an advantage, other times not so.
With all the political upheaval over here, one now can not even go to the allotments without someone bringing it into conversation..
So I escape within when ever I can, and this is becoming more and more often.. I am in need of more vit D 🙂 and Sunshine my friend.. 🙂
And so I read, paint, and sleep, though sleep has been a means to shutting out the noise of the world.. 🙂
Much love to you Debby.. ❤ Enjoy your week ❤

Sue, I feel your every words. It’s seems the world is heating up in so many ways. I’ve been following some of your politics there on your side of the pond and can only imagine the ‘noise’ around there. I spend too much time keeping up with US antics because much of what happens here leaves us the fallout over here. We are certainly all connected. It’s definitely time for a universal intervention. Stay rested my friend. Sadly, I feel things must get worse before the healing. ❤ Sending you light and love ❤ xxx

Beautiful beautiful post, Sue. Oh yes it is so important right now to both resolve old issues to get out from underneath the shadow of “death grips”, to make new choices to live a “new” life, and to disconnect. My husband is finally beginning to see how important it is to be in the Moment, to get away from the constant pull of negativity in this world. From where I see things, the pull is getting louder and stronger to get people so stressed, so upset, all to destroy their equilibrium. It is imperative we put away media and turn to our Inner World and to Nature. Thank you, dear friend, for showing others the Truth of what IS today. Bless you!! 🦋🦋🦋

Reading your words is like taking a deep breath; restorative, cleansing, and full of clarity. Taking a moment to pause, reflect, and think before acting seems so obvious, so natural, and yet it can be the most difficult thing in a heated situation. This is truly the root of anxiety and stress. I just need to keep your blog pinned on my browser so I don’t forget this when I start to feel overwhelmed again. 🙂

After reading your lovely words and feeling a deep sense of meditation and happiness for you and your experience of tea and peace, I listened to the song link, and felt and cherished the beauty of our lives, and now they overlap for the most scared of these moments.

What a peaceful, lovely piece of music you’ve shared here Sue. And your words are beautiful and so true. I too surrender to the peace and the positivity. I’ve been stepping back from the world too, more and more, going within, disconnecting a bit and finding my quiet place. Thank you for this beautiful inspiring post. Much love and hugs to you from across the ocean xx 💕

Excellent reflection an a good moment!
We can always find time if we are willing to. Being busy does not mean to give up mental calm and lovely moments close to the nature.
As always, it is prioritizing issue.. We are frequently chasing goals that do not contribute to a better life, only to survival and daily struggles.
If we want to be peaceful and calm, we have to stop seeing the world in black and white, we have to stop expecting troubles and bad things, that way they won’t even come our way. Being always ready for fight wears one down. Instead we have to do what you described as your best moment: focus on our inner wellbeing. Appearances are just appearances, but if feels that many people are ready to sacrifice their mental integrity just to look better and be in line with the ones trying to have more of THINGS and EVERYTHING.
    Nice post, Sue!

Lovely post & I listened to the music. Thank you, Sue! When I sew my Art Gowns, they are all stitched by hand, and I definitely go into a Zen space. Love it! ❤

The love you pour into your gowns shows within each stitch dear Rese, and like when I garden, knit, paint, we each find those ‘Zen’ Moments when we are absorbed and in the moment of creation.. I love listening to the artist of this music, I was only recently introduced to their music which resonates deeply within me.

Sending Love and Blessings for a wonderful weekend and week ahead Resa. ❤

A very beautiful post Sue, and excellent words of advice, I always find that one word or one sentence that hits home every time, in this case it is the key word detachment, for through detachment we can isolate ourselves and get rid of all negativity, wonderful words Sue.

Yes detaching, an art we learn.. Learning to Let Go is one of our hardest lessons.. But we learn, little by little, 🙂

Each of us, carries within us the capacity to change the world in small ways for better or worse. Everything we do and think affects the people in our lives, and their reactions in turn affect others As the effect of a seemingly insignificant word passes from person to person, its impact grows and can become a source of great joy, inspiration, anxiety, or pain. Your thoughts and actions are like stones dropped into still waters, causing ripples to spread and expand as they move outward.. I hope that I can send a few ripples out via the web of life, as we each of us weave the threads together... Welcome to my Sanctuary of Peace and Love... May we each spread our Lights around our World....Sue Dreamwalker
