Thank you Holly, and we had WONDERFUL warm weather as a bonus, so while the paints have flowed, the brushes have been put down often to take long breaks in the Sun on the Swing reading.. Now the weather back to what is normal for this time of year here.. We could boast it was hotter than Barcelona the other day 🙂 Big Hugs ❤

Yes March has soon arrived Holly, My crocus and some daffodils are out, the wallflowers in bud, and the tulips pushing through while primroses are shining their gold.. Its been a beautiful week.. of taking a breath… 🙂

Our thoughts colour our perception.. and we can either choose bright happy ones or dim negative ones.. The canvas is ours to paint..
I have though a real canvas waiting for me to start.. I have a vision in mind.. to transfer onto the canvas is another matter, but I will have fun this week trying..

Know that your thoughts are the paint in all you do – I love this as a quote and a powerful reminder!
We are capable of creating such a world of chaos within and then translate that in to such chaos in our life – just with uncontrolled thought processes. It took a quite a lot of training of my mind to be able to find the spaces between thoughts and use them to infuse my thoughts with conscious intention. Your painting is so beautiful, shows how bright we can paint our life. Fear indeed dims our world- view.

Happy Sunday, sweet friend! Beautiful post as always, with your lyrical words painting pictures in my mind of your content here. The part about “stand within your power, The elixir of your Light” resonates particularly with me. I’m talking about it in tomorrow’s post, but essentially, sharing my sacred practice of meditation means that “selling to people” online is a no-no. Standing on my own two feet means telling my coach that no, I cannot do this. It violates my integrity and values. But teaching lights me up and that is what I intend to do.
It is in that spirit that I want to light others up, so become aware – more self-aware and aware of their impact – on themselves, on others, on the planet, for better or worse.
Sending you hugs, sweet friend. Beautiful words indeed – ones that made my heart leap the the words leak from my fingers. 🙂

Dearest Cynthia.. Many thanks my friend.. I so understand your thoughts on this, I struggled too when I was asked by people to do private Aurograph paintings, some of which would take over 12 hours to paint and then I would give interpretations and readings… I never charged a penny to those I served in the Spiritual Venues I would give my paintings away freely, and only after my own circumstances changed did I charge the Venues my expenses for petrol money..
I was asked by so many people to paint these aurographs for a private reading from the Spiritual centres I served. It was my friend who persuaded me that I must charge for my time, if nothing else. My values are like yours, ( we are so alike in so many ways ) 🙂 But she made me understand something also.. While we may only want to Give, and teach and help others, We also lived in a Material world, and as such still needed to survive in the reality of it..
So while you may not be comfortable with it, as I wasn’t and the commercial side to it all, you have to also think on this.. My friend, who is now passed said to me, People put value on services.. ( It took me a while to see her point of view, but I had to eventually agree ) When people think something costs a lot, they think its valuable.. When its given for free, they discard it as not being worth much..
I only did a very few personal readings of this kind.. and turned more away than I ever accepted..
You have to follow what feels comfortable with you dear Cynthia..
Teaching you are good at.. And think on the retreats you have been too, and paid for the privilege?? and you did not begrudge one penny I am betting!..
But I can totally understand your thoughts my dear friend..

Receiving is much harder than giving. But I also recognize that if I want to do this work, I *must* learn this lesson. Not so easy. Some of it is my personality type and some of it is the idea of “divine work” – ah, I’ll get there. I’ve come this far with my training and paying others, right? Hehe. And yes Hubby is happy, this milder weather has meant he has now well in front with all his digging.. The lean-too old garden shed behind the other two, finally gave up the ghost in some high winds the other week, so he has been busy clearing that section.. And I have been busy in the home garden tidying, as well as finished my knitting, reading and painting.. A full week we have both had. Yet I feel very refreshed.. The exceptional hot weather here has added to the enjoyment.. 🙂 Hope you are thawing out??

Hi Sibyl, this also happens with me on certain blogs, I do not get their replies in my notifications I have to physically go back to their blog posts and view their replies.. With other blogs it will not take my answers from my notification, saying it failed.. This problem has been on going for a few years. I contacted the ‘Happiness Engineers!’ of WordPress on their help link.. You will find that on your Dashboard at the bottom.. It may take several attempts for them to see your complaint, and then you have to be vigilant in looking for their reply in your email box.. Some problems they have helped me fix, others like this one, no satisfactory solution

Hi Sue. Only on here today due to a family tragedy. My sister in law died. My brother with dementia is now alone. I live 2,000 miles away and am trying to find help for him. Life has stressed me out a lot these last few years. Thanks always for your love and hugs

Thank you Wolfie.. While some are wonderfully gifted in digital art.. I am afraid my skills in Paint 3D are limited lol.. But I dabbled away to get my point across.. While the real work on canvas is taking much more effort lol..

Digital art is a fantastic medium to work in but it can never express the heart and soul of the artist in the way that work on canvas can 🌝 I think the artist’s inner self transfers into the canvas as the paint and brushes, or the tools of choice touch the canvas…it’s more…alive😊👍xxx

I agree with you Wolfie, I much prefer my paints and brushes.. I have a painting on the go, but my library books this week have had me hooked into them.. So the paint is still waiting to dry.. I have now decided I much prefer my Acrylics than oils. 🙂

Thank you Ian.. Happy to see you making your rounds in WP once again my friend.. And always good to have a visit from you.. I wanted to create something quickly, and thought digital on my 3D paint in the computer.. Not a great fan of digital art myself.. but there are some wonderful creators who can do wonders with the right programmes I am sure.. But paint and brushes are for me… So I am extra pleased my efforts here managed to convey what was in my poem.. 😀
