Love is the Answer.

Wood

Today I took a walk; it led me to a wood.

Winter is upon us with frost and it was cold as I stood.

Beneath my feet were oak leaves crisply sparkling

Above my head the rays of light reflecting, glistening.

I took a breath of clean fresh air that billowed out as smoke

Flung out my arms and turned around, as the woodland spoke.

My heart beat slowly like a drum, to a rhythmic beat.

I listened to it’s sound, while the energy pulsed through my feet.

My head did spin, I wanted to laugh, instead I hugged a tree,

I’m alive, and was part of that wood, and it was part of me.

Tears of joy sprang to my eyes that glistened like the frost.

For at last my heart sang, my soul I’d thought I’d lost.

You’re part of me, the trees the flowers and the sun,

The Universe and God, are waiting, we are One.

We are all connected, in a moment I just knew,

The key is Love, Everything, Everyone, Especially You.

Each of us is special, unique unto his own,

In that moment my heart felt light, as if I’d just flown.

I am the Lord of the Dance said he- echoed in my head,

At last I knew- I’d met the source- We are One it said.

Peace and Laughter filled my heart, I laughed or I should cry,

I wanted to embrace the whole wide World, and to tell it why.

Love is the answer, Love is the Key,

So simple, yet so hard.

Love is the answer Love is the key,

Grasp it- hold it, Love is now for you and me..

…. Love is the Answer.

Oak Tree and Me

Can you see the guardian of this tree? Look Closely 😉

Can you now see them?

Can you now see them?

You may find this poem else where upon my blog.. But I wanted to share another walk in a beautiful wood I took at  the weekend ; Especially the large aged Oak..

I am sending much love to you all, and remember to hold each other close as we go through these periods of change, do not get caught up within other people’s drama’s.. Know all things are transitional and Change is Constant..

I may be a little quite over the next few days as I wish to complete my knitting project and I have a little girl for sleep over to entertain at the weekend..

Love and Blessings to you ALL and thank you for your wonderful continued support

~Sue~

More of my Scottish adventures will follow in future weeks..

Yes there are many there within it and like you see them.. 🙂 and felt privileged to meet them and her energy.. This was one of the largest oaks I saw around.. Many of them had died and were fallen further along our walk.. but many hallowed oaks still stood but none with girth as wide as this ancient one.. 🙂 ❤

My knitting project almost done.. Has not been without its trials this last two days.. but my patience and perseverance paid off.. As I mastered an unseen glitch.. Which will most likely be revealed at a later date..

Love the photo of you and the tree 😉 All the photos, actually. And your words transport me to your season/weather. The ‘love’ you speak of has been transmitted/received to/by me as Being. Which Nature is so very good at. All is right with a world when Nature is attended to, even if that attention is simply visual. I really do believe Nature responds to our love, our shared Being-ness. People who visit my garden can hardly believe how things grow ‘for me.’ I think they grow because they are recognized, each and all, unique and whole. Anyhow, I’m rambling. Sweet poem, Sue. Aloha! ❤

Yes, love that Being-ness too Bela.. Nature responds back.. And if you are like me you are always chatting away to our plants..And all live in that vibration we Humans seem to forget surrounds us all.. The vibration of LOVE.. and when we tune into its energy we each begin then to feel unique and whole.. And you NEVER Ramble dear Bela.. You always make perfect sense to this Dream-Walker 🙂 LOL.. Each of us, carries within us the capacity to change the world in small ways for better or worse. Everything we do and think affects the people in our lives, and their reactions in turn affect others As the effect of a seemingly insignificant word passes from person to person, its impact grows and can become a source of great joy, inspiration, anxiety, or pain. Your thoughts and actions are like stones dropped into still waters, causing ripples to spread and expand as they move outward.. I hope that I can send a few ripples out via the web of life, as we each of us weave the threads together... Welcome to my Sanctuary of Peace and Love...
