In Gratitude

Tranquil Garden

Sitting in the garden, as Blackbird sings her tune,

Summer is here, as we welcome the month of June

Foxgloves are in flower, as the Bumblebee explores

And new growth is around us, this time I just adore.

The fountain in the garden is tranquil, hear it flow

As peacefulness surrounds me, As I drift in Sun’s warm glow

The wind chimes they do tinkle, and the breeze just gently blows

And the pigeon in the tree top her cooing never slows

A neighbours cat is cooling, laid out beneath the shade

Oh how I love these tranquil, peaceful lazy days.

The grass appears much greener, or is it just my eyes,

For when we are contented, nature gives us our best prize.

We just have to take a moment in quiet thoughtful pose

To enjoy the bliss around us and be thankful I suppose.

Do we ever take a moment to give our heartfelt thanks?

For somewhere people are fighting and living with enemy Tanks.

So Bless those quiet moments of peace within your home

For you never know when it could be shattered,

 and darkness soon enclose

So enjoy the moments of each bright new sunny day

As we say goodbye to rain clouds in this last day of May,

The above poem I wrote some time ago. The rain clouds are still here, but I choose to find the Sun in All that surrounds me.

May we all of us count our blessings and send out our thoughts of love into the world for those who find themselves in need of it right now.

I am so grateful  right now and thankful  to be able to go within my Gardens , for the healing they bring, and the Inner Peace that I find within them.

Garden on the front

Part of our Garden through the bedroom window on the front of our home

Have a beautiful new week,  and remember

“Live

And Work

but do not forget to play,

to have fun in life

and really enjoy it”

~~~
      Hi Mark, apologies its taken a while to reply.. I turned off the modem and disconnected for a while.. I sometimes just need to clear my head and get it in alignment with my heart.. And grounding myself in the garden is the best way I know how to disconnect for a while.. Plus its been hotter than Hawaii here over the last couple of days.. So have been in the allotments just after Dawn 🙂 well almost lol.. And lounging in the shade in the garden in the afternoons and evenings.. Bliss.. 🙂 And the Veggies are thriving 🙂 Hope you are well and enjoy your weekend 🙂
      Hugs Sue 😉
        That’s fine Sue, take your time. As I say in all my healing’s…’you cannot help another, unless you help yourself first!’.
        A bit pointless being screwed up in a ball on the floor when someone asks for help 🙂
        Plus, if someone twisted my arm and forced me into a beautiful, flower and veggie filled, grounding place like your garden…I’d fight it like crazy….NOT! 😀
      Debby I have tried two browers to try to get to your site my friend, I even put you in my firewall settings to allow your site in, as I keep getting this on my browers I also tried on Chrome
      “Firefox can’t establish a connection to the server at http://www.dgkayewriter.com.
      The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
      If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer’s network connection.
      If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.
      Is anyone else getting the same problem?
        That is strange Sue. My blog has had the most traffic ever this week. Probably because I had more posts as usual on some of my new discoveries. And I had one person tell me they had trouble getting to my site.
        The only thing I would tell you is, a few months ago I found I had trouble getting to many blogs. I always used Internet explorer as my browser. It was when I had trouble getting into my online payments for my cable company they explained to me that often sites that won’t open is because of Internet explorer problems and advised me to download ‘Chrome’ browser. Now I use chrome for everything and never had another problem getting in to any site. Chrome is Google’s friend and pretty much owns most of the world wide web. I’m guessing you’re not using it?
          Yes I down loaded Chrome as I love the spell check on there LOL.. and it says similar on chrome and on explorer edge.. It said it was a threat.. and so I allowed your site through my fire wall.. putting in your addy.. Maybe I need to close it down and reboot it again for it to accept it.. I will give it a go xx
            That is strange. I am convinced it’s your firewall. And yes, we all know the ‘magical’ reboot sometimes clears things. But I can only think it’s your firewall. Please keep me posted. I suspect this began with your new Windows 10 – the dark enemy, lol. 🙂 xoxo
              Yes I spent an hour this early morning before breakfast clicking away trying to find my way the inner workings of Windows 10, found the firewall in there to discover my security anti virus softwear had taken control of it and I can find no way of adding your IP address to say its safe.. I had to go through a series of clicks to which I had to send a report saying your IP was not a threat.. And await a reply.. Now I am back at the computer this evening I will turn the fire wall off while I try again to visit you.. 🙂 Fingers crossed.. I am not a Happy Bunny! xxx
              Omg, how weird is that. I’ve left you a reply from my blog asking what antivirus you’re using that’s causing this?
              Once while I was on vacation on a cruise ship, I could get to everyone’s blogs except mine, lol. I couldn’t post or reply to comments because it said my site wasn’t safe, lol. This is frustrating, darned Windows 10. I had so many problems with antivirus on my Windows 10 laptop. I paid for a renewal for Kaspersky and it would not load to my Windows 10 and they were the most unhelpful site I’ve ever used. I wrote a post about the issues a few weeks ago. So a friend recommended Avast which I had to pay for again just for that computer. 😦 xo
              You know Sue, I used McAfee for years and was quite happy with it. And as a matter of fact, it was while I was using it that it wouldn’t allow me into my own website while on vacation. The Geeks at my local boxstore suggested Kaspersky because apparently, it’s the best security. So I started using it 2 years ago, and all is great except it doesn’t like my Windows 10. Now, if I remember correctly, what I liked about McAfee, is they have a good telephone support. I’d called them a few times with issues I was having and they’re helpful, so maybe you can do that this week? 🙂
    Your allotment, if it was completely covered with beautiful flowers like that, could become a great visiting site for the elderly and infirm, what joy they would get wandering through those beautiful flowers.
Each of us, carries within us the capacity to change the world in small ways for better or worse. Everything we do and think affects the people in our lives, and their reactions in turn affect others As the effect of a seemingly insignificant word passes from person to person, its impact grows and can become a source of great joy, inspiration, anxiety, or pain. Your thoughts and actions are like stones dropped into still waters, causing ripples to spread and expand as they move outward.. I hope that I can send a few ripples out via the web of life, as we each of us weave the threads together... Welcome to my Sanctuary of Peace and Love...
