Sharing~ and Choosing!

Hello my wonderful friends,

You will notice again perhaps how quiet I have been over the last few days.  Sometimes we have to withdraw from the world and the perpetual bombardments of other people’s thinking, and those awful tragedies which have a knock on effect to our energies.

Especially here in the UK where we are going to make a choice on the 23rd June as we vote in the Referendum to Stay or Exit the European Union -EU. I have heard every argument going from both sides to stay or leave until to be quite honest I have switched off from it all.

And the way I switch off is by connecting back into nature, which is my safe haven and energiser from the constant chaos we are being subjected to into our homes from the media with all that is unfolding at this time.

I was looking for a piece of music to share with you on this Father’s Day here in the UK, but as I browsed I came across a favourite speaker and author of mine Gregg Bradon.

I hope you have just 10 minutes of your time to listen to him speak upon these changes in this interview he gave.  Touching upon how we can now choose to co-operate and share. Within his talk he speaks of changing our thoughts around from  “ What can I get from the world that exists” ………. To “ What can I share with the world that is emerging”…..

So while you hopefully listen to his thoughts, I am sharing with you all what I have been up to last week and will be spending more time within our Allotment Plot this coming week in picture format.

( Sorry the Video has now been taken Down )

HERE

Love and Blessings

Sue

I love Gregg Braden’s work. Have many of his books and audio books. Been reading them since the 90’s. He’s so on target here. I detached too, from the media frenzy of each tragedy. It serves no one. I pray for peaceful solutions and gentle understanding. People that perpetrate such heinous acts are deeply, deeply disturbed. The world is filled with them and they can’t find an outlet for their internal suffering so they lash out at innocent souls. I think we are looking in the wrong direction for a solution. That’s just my take on it. We will always struggle with something or other. Hopefully, one day, the news will start broadcasting acts of kindness with equal measure to acts of violence. The acts of kindness can truly outnumber the other. Like you, I choose to put my focus on what is good in the world. Stay positive. 🙂 Hugs.

Thank you Marlene, so good to know you are also a Gregg Braden fan.. Yes my bookshelves have many of his books among them. And like you I have been following since the 90’s when I awoke from the slumberings of our human self 😉
I agree Marlene, if the media did just that very thing of balancing out the good and the bad news, we would soon see a great improvement within society..
And I agree we have to choose where we focus our attention.. What we think is what we create.. Many thanks for your lovely comment..

There is something happening with my brain today, it may have to do with the upcoming full moon, and due to that, I didn’t sleep very well, perhaps I’m sleep deprived! …but when I listen to Gregg, I can’t seem to follow what he is saying, it’s almost like listening to Latin, my eyes can’t seem to get past his hair! Maybe it’s due to the fact that I don’t use any products in my hair that add lift and staying power to a hairdo, idk, some days words just seem as though they are verbiage, maybe I think in poetry? I’ve been into philosophy for years, but my brain got into a philosophical overload and it seems that I find poetry a refuge from a lot of words about nature and oneness.

I’ll try listening to the video again after the full moon. 🙂

I am not surprised dear Genie about the scrambled thoughts with all the energies around at the moment.. A Strawberry Moon in alignment I hear with planets not seen in 70 yrs.. ( I cannot claim to be an expert on Astrology ) Although the clouds here were so dense we couldn’t see the moon. My sleep patterns have been the opposite, I have been sleeping very heavy.
Keep to your wonderful poetry dear Genie, sometimes life is much more simple when we don’t over complicate our systems in overloads of the ‘World’s Illusions..’ As we stick to our Inner Reality, embracing Love and feeling at ONE with Nature.
Gregg Braden has always made lots of sense to me.. So I hope you do get to give him a second listen..
Love and Hugs.. Sue xxx ❤

Okay, I watched it again just now — and I get what he is saying.
He’s addressing the “Cartesian Split”, which is the separation of our Spirituality from the rest of our lives, and of course this is a disaster that must stop.
Science, Art, and Spirituality, can’t be separated in our lives, they are all intertwined, and to separate them leads to fragmentation and alienation.
It’s a good talk and I thank you for sharing it with us, Angel.

Time to go through your “sharing and choosing” after strolling around your allotment plot first and discussing with your thriving plants, dear Sue.There,I decided that life is a big garden where I could live deliberately and learn to front the essential facts of life. Now,while listening to Mr Gregg Braden speaking,I can understand that the crisis of thinking is so important. The unstable situation worldwide involves impending change, and we have to reconsider and compare bad or good experiences from the past in order to go back to normal. Will we be able to adjust ourselves to new phenomenal changes?Big question marks indeed! What can we get from the world that exists and what can we offer?Who can deny though that we have to co-exist,contribute and live in harmony in order to rectify and ameliorate our disturbed, injust world?Ah,that timeless “grand” John Donne’s poem,it comes and goes and big truths it speaks …

    No man is an island,
    Entire of itself,
Every man is a piece of the continent,
A part of the main …

No,I am not going to re-write it for you dear Sue,but I am thinking it has so much in common with Mr Braden’s theory. You know what to choose and what to share, dear Sue.And so many thanks for that.Enjoy the pleasures of your garden,my friend 🙂

Yes I agree dearest Doda, that poem indeed resonates greatly with those thoughts, and such a wise poet with his timeless words.
I so wish that we could take a leaf out of Natures book and learn that ultimately each species relies upon the other and that Co-existence is an essential part of survival..
In the mean time we both retreat a little as we go into our own survival modes lol..
So pleased you enjoyed your walk around the veggie patch…

Sue, thanks for sharing the video by Gregg Braden. It was indeed a lovely dissection of how we look at life and how we respond the world us. It is changed world and we many times forget to recognize that change and a change that is good for us and good people around us. It is an interconnected and interdependent world, the macro and micro cannot be separated, the country and the continent cannot be separated, the society and the environment are more deeply interconnected then that were years ago. In fact there is a myth that spiritual and science are two different world, as beautifully explained, they are inter-related, it is that we fail see the connection, the impact of one on the other and how they work in tandem to get the problem solved in our society and how we make discovery and invention by being able to pick the insights from both world, as one is no more sufficient to resolve any issue we face, it is much complex world we live in and we are responsible for making it so, distancing ourselves from the heart of nature and getting entangled and enmeshed in the digital distraction and the cacophony of media where we rarely hear the good news, there is so much noise there and the good gets buried in the avalanche of the bad, the negative, the hype and hyperbola that goes around us…we are all distracted and we are caught in a cobweb created by us and we don’t know how to come out and we make it impossible to liberate us from our deeply entrenched archaic and prejudices views and assumptions that drive our daily life and we are not at peace with us and we want that much needed break and we don’t know how to take that break and make ourselves in harmony…profound thoughts to pause and reflect on things I do and how I need to amend and meander the journey of my life…

Thank so much Sue, take care!!!
    Have a peaceful break.

What a beautiful response Nihar.. And yes there is too much noise around at the moment .. I hope we can disentangle ourselves from the Hyperbola that goes around us.. As we decipher the Truth from the lies..
Sometimes we need to revisit our inner core, where our guidance needs I feel to touch base with our hearts not our heads.. As we learn that we are all of us mirrors for our external world that reflects back only that which we put out..
Many thanks dear friend for your thoughtful responses
      Blessings

So true Sue, we are mirrors of the external world and we reflect what happens in around us. Our anger, our anxiety, our happiness, our joy are what we do with our nature and how we behave with people around us…if we give good things we get back the good things, if we are good with others we get the same back from others…it is all in us and how we think and how we behave, many times we get swayed by the things happening around and we start behaving in a manner that is not natural to us and we act and we react.
These are times when we need to sit back and look inward and affect changes within us and that makes all the difference in how we look at things and our changed outlook is what makes our life look beautiful.
        Have a lovely week ahead.
        take care!!!

Sometimes the best thing is to switch it off and return to nature. There is so much love in the world, but sometimes the hate is just too much to process. That’s when I step away from social media and all the stuff that is happening.

Yes I agree Kourtney.. sometimes we just have to take ourselves away and go within ourselves.. Knowing that there is far more Love than we are shown always gives me hope for the future.. but it is very upsetting when so much tragic events are constantly replayed over and over.. Which affects our emotions. Which is their intent.. So I have to take myself out of it.. ❤

Each of us, carries within us the capacity to change the world in small ways for better or worse. Everything we do and think affects the people in our lives, and their reactions in turn affect others As the effect of a seemingly insignificant word passes from person to person, its impact grows and can become a source of great joy, inspiration, anxiety, or pain. Your thoughts and actions are like stones dropped into still waters, causing ripples to spread and expand as they move outward.. I hope that I can send a few ripples out via the web of life, as we each of us weave the threads together... Welcome to my Sanctuary of Peace and Love... May we each spread our Lights around our World....Sue Dreamwalker
