Many Thanks to you ALL.

My Dear WordPress family,

Thank you for your tremendous support and welcome back, after my absence. And I so thank you for all of your contributions which you make to this blog with your encouraging comments and visits..

It is you that keeps me blogging and it is you that makes this blog what it has become today.. So thank you, all of you.

This last week has been a little hectic as I try to condense time into manageable  ‘Bites’  as I flit through your blogs as I attempt to catch up.. And how frustrated I became when pages wouldn’t load and my computer kept freezing. Another Lesson the Universe thought to teach me.

Most all of you know how I love my garden.. And being outdoors. And this next week there are lots of things yet to get sorted in the allotments as well as my home garden. I need this connection with our Earth Mother, for it she that breathes life into my lungs, and heals me. So I need to spend lots more time working her soil and tending her plants.

I am working my way down the list of those I have not yet called in on since my  vacation. But this is taking extra time due to the still reoccurring page freezes that are happening less but still occurring. But this is taking time, as I love reading your posts and love commenting upon them…

You can see what my Hubby and I have been up to since our return on my Garden Blog, which has sadly got very neglected also.

To see what We have been doing is but One click away HERE and it is in Picture format for easy viewing.  So I hope you can see what time has to be spent in preparing such a huge plot of land for growing food.

Thank you all of you for reading and

Have a wonderful week..

Love and Blessings

Sue

That’s where I have been the last month as much as possible. Outside either painting or working on the yard. I love to play in the dirt. I forget to eat when I am there. I don’t have to see well either to work there. 🙂 I always try to keep my posts under 500 words so it doesn’t take anyone too much time to visit. I know how busy everyone is. Especially this time of year. 🙂 Giant happy hugs.

Thank you Marlene, and I have seen the results of how busy outdoors you have been and so well worth the time and energy you have spent there.. Yes likewise I am always mindful of the lengths of posts.. Which is why I forwarned people on my last episode of the Vision Quest as it was double the lenght I normally like to post.. Bless you for reading Marlene.. and I hope you keep on enjoying your outdoors and getting your hands dirty.. LOL.. nothing quite like it xx 🙂

That’s why I like reading your posts. They don’t waste words and still say what wants to be said. I’m saving your quest to read all at once. I just came back in the house after readying everything for tomorrows rain. Shower time. I’m covered in dust from pulling weeds. I found the ground. 🙂

You should have seen me an hour ago Marlene… Looked like I had just emerged from the coal mines.. 🙂 It rained here yesterday hard all day.. Today the Sun is out and warm wind.. Perfect weather for growing (( weeds love it ))
So I have been hard at weeding out the beetroot and thinned the Turnips out again as they were still too close now they have grown a bit moren and weeded between the potato rows. While hubby constructed a frame to support a net over my red currents. As last year they were just ripe for picking and I left them for one more day, returning to find the whole bush stripped.. Still don’t know if it was hands or beaks 🙂 but we are netting them this year.. I netted the raspberries etc and they were fine… Hope you are not doing too much?? my feet are up this afternoon. 🙂

We had a hard rain today. tomorrow I get dirt for the planter and then have to wheel the dirt from the driveway to the planter. I will be tired tomorrow night. Then I get to start planting!!!:) A little late in the season but it will be a start. I went to the mall today to meet a young friend and her 19 month old who I have made a surrogate grandchild. There is a play area there and lots to look at and room to roam. Not like my tiny living area. We had coffee and a snack then I went for a foot massage. OMG! it was heavenly. My feet needed spoiling so badly. It wasn’t very expensive and I can’t tell you how lovely it was. I would be upset if it was hands that took all the berries, beaks, not as much. Feet up is a good place to be. 🙂

Great to have you back in circulation Sue, allotment does look as though it’s going to need your attention, it must be a joy to have such a large amount of land to lose yourself with pleasure in.
I notice I am having pages freezes these days also, I put it down to a minor computer hiccup, but will definitely need surgery if it doesn’t improve.
    Cheers.

Yes those hicups can frustrate when pages freeze..
And yes this plot is a large one and you need to keep on top of it, if not the weeds gain control 🙂 Today has given me time off to catch up as its raining heavily today.. But promises to be better tomorrow… My own Computer is still having hicups too.. I did a major sweep with my anti virus and it found 5 threats which were removed… But the pages have still frozen several times today.. So patience is being deeply breathed again 🙂 LOL

There is something with the way you frame your words that hits the soul: “I need this connection with our Earth Mother, for it she that breathes life into my lungs, and heals me” I can tell whenever I get too overwhelmed with work & travel, I’ve got to reconnect ~ and this is what this coming week is going to bring. So many thanks to you!!! I also look forward to catching up on your adventures you’ve had since I’ve been gone 🙂 Cheers to a great week ahead Sue, wishing you the best.

Thank you.. Little did I know when I wrote this post that our Earth Mother/ The Universe had plans to keep me off the computer all together for longer than I had intended 🙂 As my computer totally froze up and a new hard drive had to be installed.. A great lesson in Letting Go.. So I have spent lots of time in the Allotment.. and I am fully refreshed and revitalised from reconnecting and getting dirt beneath my finger nails again 🙂

Each of us, carries within us the capacity to change the world in small ways for better or worse. Everything we do and think affects the people in our lives, and their reactions in turn affect others As the effect of a seemingly insignificant word passes from person to person, its impact grows and can become a source of great joy, inspiration, anxiety, or pain. Your thoughts and actions are like stones dropped into still waters, causing ripples to spread and expand as they move outward.. I hope that I can send a few ripples out via the web of life, as we each of us weave the threads together... Welcome to my Sanctuary of Peace and Love...
