What a great portrait! Love it! You really got his personality. Not that I know his personality, but there is a lot in the photograph and even more in your pastel.
    Peaceful weekend Sue,

Pastel has a special quality in the right hands producing beautiful pictures.
Merlin looks real enough to pat but that is not a good idea with pastel.
Your animal pastels are excellent. _/\_

A great pastel version of Merlin Sue, you are a Spirit of many talents.
We recently were given a beautiful pastel when in Chile, and any artist that can use pastel in their creations are definitely way up in the Artistic Masters league.
You are definitely in that category Sue.

Bless you Ian.. 🙂 I enjoy creating with them.. Though I can also say I have not always had success 🙂 I remember one drawing where I couldn’t get the eye right and rubbed a hole in the paper. 🙂 teaches you to let go of your creations…. 🙂 reminded me of the Mandala’s and how long they take to create in sand.. to be swept away 🙂 Mine was crumpled up in the paper bin 🙂

Each of us, carries within us the capacity to change the world in small ways for better or worse. Everything we do and think affects the people in our lives, and their reactions in turn affect others As the effect of a seemingly insignificant word passes from person to person, its impact grows and can become a source of great joy, inspiration, anxiety, or pain. Your thoughts and actions are like stones dropped into still waters, causing ripples to spread and expand as they move outward.. I hope that I can send a few ripples out via the web of life, as we each of us weave the threads together... Welcome to my Sanctuary of Peace and Love... May we each spread our Lights around our World....Sue Dreamwalker
