Out of Silence~ Comes Creativity

“Everything that’s created comes out of silence. Your thoughts emerge from the nothingness of silence. Your words come out of this void. Your very essence emerged from emptiness. All creativity requires some stillness. “

More and more I am seeking the sanctuary of Silence.. to sit within that bubble of quiet contemplation and be inspired to be at One within the comfort of my own thoughts, and for a while disconnect to the chatter of life  for a while..

A Flower Mandala

A flower Mandala done in watercolour paints and coloured inks

So the other day I had the desire to paint.. I was clearing out some draws and came across some old coloured inks that I had not used since my creative Auragraph Days.. I really have Cyndi to thank for her new blog of Contemplative Colouring  where she designs and creates to share those wonderful images she creates to colour in.. She gave me the urge to be creative.. I hope you pop along, and see what she is sharing..

I had a Lovely Diary given me for Christmas, my daughter always buys me the  Earth Pathways Diary, and this time within its many wonderful features were some wonderfully created Flower Mandala’s by the  artist Maria Silmon, I looked up her website.. Be amazed.. she can be found HERE

So I thought I would have a go a creating my own mandala..  The above is my doodlings, not a patch upon her own creative art.. But as I sat within the Silence, Time was none existent. And I enjoyed creating in the Peace of oblivion ..

If you click the Card it will take you to the Source:

I picked a random Angel Card today Thursday..Out of Dorren Virtue’s  Archangel  Gabriel Oracle card deck.. and it confirmed my thoughts on taking care of Me by staying True to myself.

The full interpretation says:

Stay True To Yourself

“This card is a message for you to trust and follow your inner guidance. Don’t second-guess yourself or veer off course to please other people. You know, deep down, what to do. Partner with God’s guidance. Trust and follow the path you’re shown, one step at a time.

If you ever find yourself feeling stuck or if your business stalls, you can be sure it’s because you’ve compromised your original ideas. This stems from listening to fears and trying to satisfy everyone or fit in with others. Fears will never lead you where you want to go. Fortunately, it’s never too late to get back on track by staying true to yourself. This experience will help strengthen your assertiveness. Call upon God and Archangel Gabriel for help in being honest with others.”

Today Friday, I read Linda’s post over at Litebeings Chronicles and listened to the video in full… I just love how these synchronicities fall into place as they show you that your choices are circulating new energy which is what  Matt Kahn’s teachings help show us in this session.

I hope you will be patience with me for a while.. as I adjust and resettle…( and circulate new energy ) 🙂

My own energies seem all over the place at the moment.. I need some quiet and creative time .. And will be resting over the weekend..

Enjoy your own Weekends and make time to be creative and tell those whom you love that you love them.. Sending you Love and Peace, and Enjoy your weekend..

Blessings

~Sue~

    Hi Sue,

I like the way you inspire others to find their own peace, which lies in all those activities you have highlighted. I have been following creativity and much of calmness and poetry emerges from silence, solitude and positive thoughts. Art was my attraction but it got left behind somewhere…thanks for the inspiration dear friend.

Stay blessed and enjoy your quiet time. Best wishes and hugs…:)

And blessings to you, Sweet Sue! Do you quilt? Because that mandala up there looks like it could be a quilted creation. It’s divine! Thank you for the mention, too. But more than that, I can’t get enough of your quotes and thoughts about being centered. More than ever, I think, in my life, am I working on that. Part of it is because my work tends to be quite stressful – so I make it a point to meditate and listen to music that fills my soul – typically Zen music throughout the day until I go meet all my after school kids and tutors. I’ve incorporated a practice of gratitude and really try to visit and share blogs – like yours – that uplift and help others. I think you’re an indigo soul. 🙂 And you shine brightly.

Bless you for saying so Cyndi.. and not probs at all for the mention.. You should go over to Linda’s post and watch that video 🙂 .. But I think you are already in the Zone of Indirect Manifestation. 🙂 you have managed to manifest so many things into your life dear Cyndi.. and you alternate your energy often, from the stress of teaching to the calm of creating.. which I love.. Many thanks for brightening up my day.. and giving me the nudge along to be more creative.. 🙂 ❤

    Hi Sue,
Thank you for sharing your fantastic art with us and the journey that led you here. I also bought a new journal recently as I feel the urge to so more private writing. Upon blogging, I rarely journaled anymore. But I sensed that my private writing is necessary to resume at this time.

Thanks for mentioning my post and watching the entire video. I may do some art today. You have inspired me! Keep healing and loving you. That is plenty in service to the planet. ❤ Linda

Such lovely & true words. I was just walking home & was contemplating how to share my inner peace this weekend and glanced over the hills to the east, which was illuminated by the near full arising moon. Tomorrow I shall sit on the bench in a quiet spot in the cemetery, where I spread my dear mother’s remains. May her shining light guide me through this lifetime. Peace & Love to all.

Sue! When I first saw the pic of your Mandela, the color shading (depth? whaddever real artists call it -lol) I thought you had embroidered the piece! 🙂 What a wonderful post I simply had goosebumps so many times during the reading of it! I received my reading from lindalitebeing last monday, for the year ahead and between that and your post here, some of the ‘scattered – how do I clean up the last bits of pieces from last year of a myriad of events that almost overwhelmed me!’ feel so much easier to look at/observe now! And, ya know, Gabriel my fave – 🙂 Thanks for the wonderful post of sharing! You enrich my life sooo very much!

But I do have an alternative to send them to a printer which is alot cheaper than buying cartridges. I have enjoyed seeing the many coloring books out there but I do worry a little about coloring in the lines so really loved your mandala and am inspired to work on some of my own now.

Indeed Sue it is the silence that silently speaks volumes of it potency, the source of creativity sleeps within the cervices of the silent layers of our thoughts. Something comes out of nothing, it is in the void and it is in the emptiness lies the secret of success, being a silent observer and being true to oneself makes such huge difference in our approach in doing things and attitude to life.

Never easy to embrace the silence and learn the art of listening silently and observe the rules of being a good listener, it makes the conversation so beautiful and we have lesser number of people who can be good listener, it solves half the problem and we needn’t have to keep scouting and fighting for finding solutions in the cacophony of noises all around us…

I had touched on this topic in “Doing Nothing Nurtures Creativity” some time back and it reminds me, I can connect with the lovely way you have dealt the idea of silent, emptiness and playing with colors and making creativity a part of life and life’s meaningful engagement…

Always dear Nihar your understanding of my posts delights me, and half of the problem today is that people do not ‘Listen’ for they are all too often so full of their own ‘Talk’ that many do not hear what others are saying, let along ‘listen’ to their own ‘Inner Voices’.. I was away longer than intended from WP, and I will be sure to catch up with you and take a look at your own post linked above.. Many thanks dear Nihar, Your voice is always welcome here and is always full of Serenity and Sincerity 🙂 Many thanks. 🙂

Your posts is a reflection of your profound thinking and such noble ideas, it touches our soul…
I agree we are all so busy in talking and caught in the cacophony of surrounding noise, we have lost the inner voices and we hear but don’t listen…it is a paradox.

    Hi Sue,
Loved the “inner guidance” card. I really needed the reminder to be “true” to myself. Life can throw some curve balls in the form of people who come across as antagonistic and possibly manipulative (perhaps unintentionally), but if our own intentions are pure and selfless, it should all work out well! Got to just listen to that inner voice, not try to “fit in” or let your own fears drive you. So grateful to you for sharing:)))

Your flower mandala is gorgeous! Reminds me of the Tibetan ones I used to love to stare at in museums. Stunning. Silence is so important. Turning inward is what helps us reach outward. 🙂

Wonderful, cheerful painting Sue. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I love Doreen’s Angel cards they’re always poignant. 🙂 🙂

The flower mandala site is amazing! So are the meditative colouring pictures. Definitely worth visiting. I’d love a lampshade. 🙂

I love 5he silence of a clear night just me and the night stars of the universe embracing the energy torn being that is often Wolfie all out of balance and unsettled! The peace and calm to be found amongst the stars in the darkness of night is awesome and brings a wonderful sense of balance and calm when it is most needed 😊

Each of us, carries within us the capacity to change the world in small ways for better or worse. Everything we do and think affects the people in our lives, and their reactions in turn affect others As the effect of a seemingly insignificant word passes from person to person, its impact grows and can become a source of great joy, inspiration, anxiety, or pain. Your thoughts and actions are like stones dropped into still waters, causing ripples to spread and expand as they move outward.. I hope that I can send a few ripples out via the web of life, as we each of us weave the threads together... Welcome to my Sanctuary of Peace and Love... May we each spread our Lights around our World....Sue Dreamwalker
