Seek out your dreams look into your heart

Follow your guidance, a path you will start

Listen to the voice which cries to be heard

Push back your ego, listen and learn

~

Trust in your senses and follow their lead

Our instincts are gifts which all should pay heed

Go out into Nature and open your mind

All are connected- just look and you’ll find

~

Peace we all seek as the battles do rage

The solutions are within, become your own Sage

Your heart knows the rights from the wrong

Become your own Guru and Sing your own Song

~

To Grow- we need to reach up to the Light

Life isn’t meant to struggle, or be in constant fight

Look out in Nature she shows us the way

All things are balanced both in work and play

~

And once you’ve opened the heart of yourself

You’ll realise the beauty of holding true wealth

It’s not found in Gold that we dig from the ground

Pure nuggets are LOVE, so spread some around

~

Once you discover the Gems of pure Love

You’ll shine out your happiness like rainbows above

The colours of Life will mix and will blend

As your heart beats as One with the love that you send..

    Sue, the only way I can reach down sufficiently deep within me, to find the words that your wonderful post deserves in reply, is to borrow the words of a poem by Roy Croft that I have printed and framed here in this room. (It was my birthday gift to Jean in 2011.) Those beautiful words from Roy are:

    I love you,
    Not only for what you are,
    But for what I am,
    When I am with you.

    I love you,
    Not only for what
    You have made of yourself,
    But for what
    You are making out of me.

    I love you
    For the part of me
    That you bring out;
    I love you
    For putting your hand
    Into my heaped-up heart

We all of us have such power within the energy of our hearts to change the pathway of the world..     Thank you for this beautiful post and the video, dear Sue. I like especially this verse:

    Once we can find this kind of balance in work and play, we do lead happy lives.

    I have been thinking lately of another of life’s paradoxes, Sue, which is that the fullness of our heart encourages us to expand from our shells and our hiding, to spread our wings somehow, but that only after we’ve discovered peace within are we able to move into the world without the painful edge of seeking and needing and blaming… Prior to the entrance into our own heart’s chamber, our efforts are tainted by our lack of a center… We don’t have a foundation to push off of as we move about in the world, and so we flounder…

      Once you really get the fact that we are so much more than our ‘shells’ and discover the power ‘Within’ We then begin to see how easily our past has been led via our conditioning our lives have become.
      We become defensive,and we wound easily, as our insecurities leave us feeling vulnerable. Once we find our ‘Centre’ and expand within the knowledge We are here upon a journey to discover ‘Self’ We then let go of the need for approval, and praise, And then begin to understand all the Hurts we feel are self inflicted. Why? well we have the choice to let them wound us or not.
      It has taken me a life time to shed some of the guilt, and the blaming of others. And I would say I am still a work in progress Michael, still learning each day through perceptions and inner dialogue as I try to turn around any negative thoughts which often rear their heads to try to shake me from my perch.. 🙂 ( If we were perfect, we would not be here upon our Earthly Journey discovering the goal of which we all wish to achieve and have in our lives, and that’s Love )

      I hope as we move through the obstacles before us all, we learn to implement above all else, to Love and Care for one another and all of life..

      I thank you Ian, but at times I feel far from spiritual in my attempts to open eyes. Going within and BEing within our own worlds help as we bring Peace to our own core.. My problem is I FEEL too much of other’s plights,, I knowingly try not to add my energy within their vibration, and that is why I ‘Detach’ often within the Sanctuary of my Garden.. I am no Saint.. and still have lots of learning and probably lots more lessons upon my path.. But trying to make others see we need to share LOVE, not indifference, or worse as we judge, and put labels on others, isn’t going to Unify our World..
      I may only be a small light, but if we all gathered our small lights together, WE really could Illuminate the World 🙂
