The Healing Wood~2

Robin in the hedgerow

Robin in the hedgerow

Breathe deep that fresh clear air

Release your worries and the worlds despair

As you take yourself off for a walk

~

Observe all nature and how she grows

Pick wild berries from among the hedgerows

As you take yourself off for a walk…….

My thanks go to Kim over at Silentlyheardonce  who is a wonderful poet. Kim asked if I would take part in the 5 day photo challenge.. While I have given up accepting Awards this challenge is an easy one for me to take part in, as I had a set of photo’s I was going to post. But now with this challenge I will  add a poem I wrote a few years ago now a couple of verses at a time to each photo.. And bring you the last photo with the complete poem at the end.

The Rules are as follows..

Here are the rules for the “Five Photos Five Stories” challenge: “Post a photo each day for five consecutive days and attach a story to the photo. It can be fiction or non-fiction, a poem or a short paragraph and each day nominate another blogger for the challenge.
(Sporadic posting is alright if you’re unable to post each day.)

My Nomination for this second photo challenge is  Precious Rhymes over at Journey to the Heart with Precious Rhymes ..

What a lovely idea. Especially if you can share your walk with a dog! (Sorry to be predictable.)

What a sweet birdie in the hedgerow and a prompting poem dearest Sue!
I release my worries and the world’s despair and I will virtually take a walk with you near nature!I have adopted the quote of a famous Greek painter who used to say that :”We can only survive if we keep close to nature”.
    Happy,Dry … Sunday my sweetest friend!Sending Love & Blessings 🙂 <3,Doda xxx

Beautiful poem. Being close to nature, makes life better to live. Living life in stress is what we are in without realizing the strain it is putting on our life. Walking in the nature provides the relieve much needed to lead a good life. Observing and appreciate the beauty of nature makes us a better person. Everything is in our mind, how we think and how we adapt to new ways of thinking, good living is a factor of good thinking. Fresh clean air, harbinger of fresh and new ideas and thinking.
    Peaceful Sunday…

Loved your comment Nihar.. and I so agree with you thoughts here.. ” Everything is in our mind, how we think and how we adapt to new ways of thinking“.. So very true.. Learning to live in gratitude and appreciation that Nature provides us not only with our habitat, but our life’s breath as well as our food.. Sometimes I think this modern age with all its electronic gadgetry forgets its roots and we do not see we each are connected via this living library of intricate balance that Nature does so well.. We are the biggest causes of the Imbalances of this world.. Including how violent the world has become,, It all stems from our train of thoughts as what we project outward.. Thank you Nihar for your continued and most welcome support xxx

Gratitude and appreciations are so important aspect of life, it is not easy and when we learn the art of appreciation we make life beautiful.Nature is the best place and teaches us how to live life, life flourishes when it gets the nature to anchor the roots…the root of life. Indeed we are to balance our life with nature but we have become the root cause of imbalance of nature…yes, every good and bad action stems from the thinking we are indulged with.
Always a pleasure reading such inspiring and lovely posts of yours…it makes me feel happy.

“Pick wild berries from among the hedgerows” … I sat with this line as it spun scenes from once upon a time on the mindscape. Berries and butterflies, the sun, the skies, the freedom to be .. wonder what happened to that little girl. Wish I could see her again! I think I need to walk! Thanks Sue for another lovely reminder. Love you loads!

She is there inside PR… she really is.. Sometimes we just need to go find her and grab her hand and tell her ALL is well… as you heal her little heart… And tell her how much she is loved.. She will come out to play with encouragement.. as you find your inner child again PR….. Love to you xxx ❤

Each of us, carries within us the capacity to change the world in small ways for better or worse. Everything we do and think affects the people in our lives, and their reactions in turn affect others As the effect of a seemingly insignificant word passes from person to person, its impact grows and can become a source of great joy, inspiration, anxiety, or pain. Your thoughts and actions are like stones dropped into still waters, causing ripples to spread and expand as they move outward.. I hope that I can send a few ripples out via the web of life, as we each of us weave the threads together... Welcome to my Sanctuary of Peace and Love... May we each spread our Lights around our World....Sue Dreamwalker
