Busy as a Bee and following your Inner Voice.

I am going to let the pictures tell their own story of what I have been up to this week..

Allotments

Well I have been helping hubby out hoeing the allotments and setting more veggies… I also decided that as I post lots of updates about our gardening this time of year with many photo’s and recipes which are rapidly filling up Dreamwalker’s space, I decided I  would create a new blog entitled Dreamwalker’s Garden.. HERE is where you can find all the picture updates of the allotments, only one post so far, and I will direct followers for future updates.

Blackberry and Apple Jam

So what else has kept me busy?

Well as you can see I set too and made a few pots of Blackberry and Apple Jam.. We had a bumper crops last year of Blackberries which we froze and I need to be using and making space in the freezer. I made Jam in the Autumn, and gave most of the pots of jam away. These will end up as being gifted.

Blackberry Muffins

Also some Blackberry Muffins.. I hope to add this new recipe I tried out today to my recipe list on my Garden Blog soon.

I hope if you have time over your own weekend to relax you take some time out to sit within your own thought space, and Listen to that Inner Voice.. I am sure if you listen well it will speak right on back to you.

Below are a few pictures of my home garden. Enjoy and I added a link to my Poem The VOICE.

Have a wonderful relaxing weekend all of you… And enjoy my garden gallery.

Blessings Sue .

Please click on each photo to enlarge.

Wonderful, and love your new blog! Yes, as busy as a bee and, together with your hubby, two souls as beautiful as the bees, as featured over on LfD earlier this week!

I admire your ambitious gardening efforts Sue, especially the vegetables. I’ve had enough work to gradually transform my barren yard with beds, bushes and flowers. May your new blog flourish like your gardens! 🙂

I’m looking forward to some quiet nature time.

And I got those hangers very cheap they were forgotten at the back of a garden centre I offered a ridiculous amount as they were all rusty.. And we did a deal.. 🙂 I then painted them with metal paint 🙂 last Summer.. Many thanks .. Loved your interest.. 🙂 Hugs Sue

Cant recall if you have any posts regarding Quinces, would appreciate a few ideas, ones we are getting are rock hard, apart from jam what else can we do with them.

I thank you for following my Gardening Blog Ian.. 🙂 We do not grow quinces around these parts Ian as its too cold a climate most of the time for them to ripen… Do you water them adequately? But I did find you this Link which tells you how to prune, and problems etc, so hope this helps

Thank you Sue, it will be a pleasure to wander around your allotment site.
As for the quinces, I will give them a miss at this time, they take a lot of understanding and are prone to disease here, they need professional attention which is well out of my league.
        Kind regards.

Oh and I have a doubt… I am wondering why you anglos say "busy as a bee"… You could be also busy as an ant… Why not?.. They work a lot, don't they? 😛
The pic that definitely caught my attention is the little gnome … Just before Christmas I painted an old one we had since i was a kid… It was at my gradma's to be precise… This is how it looks… https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-lujoUNurXko/VWAhyMiT7pI/AAAAAAAA1z4/It0KRimiKjI/w506-h675/after.jpg
