Walking the Road to Peace

Walking the Road to Peace

Many of us are now on our Roads of discovery as we walk our own Sacred paths in finding out just who we are…

Before we can get to our  New  Peaceful Beginnings  we are often taken through some rough terrain as we learn to navigate the roads that lead us to our final destination.

Today I just wish to share a little of that Peace, in the form of three walks I have done recently.. Two on Sunny days, and One today within the Mist and Fog.

So too in life we have our Sunny days,

Sun over the Nettles

Lime Leaves shining in the Sun

And life just flows along nicely

Autums Flow

The Flow of Life

Could that be a little Orb that is following me from the Sun?

Can you Spot it again??

Autumn Fruits Rose Hips

Life is full of colour, we just need to open our eyes to appreciate what surrounds us every day

Standing Tall

We may at times think we stand alone..

But when you look around you will see many more shedding their past and letting go..

Woods shedding Leaves

Releasing and Letting Go means we allow more room for those Golden Opportunities into our lives

Golden Fall

Bridges to Cross

We all have our Bridges to cross..

Foggy HazeAt other times we may seem as if we are traveling through a fog uncertain of what is ahead..

We need to keep moving forward and as we do, so too a little more of the road is revealed to us.  All we need is a little Self Reflection!

Reflecting and all becomes Clear

Don’t get caught in the Traps of Fear,

Webs we all Spin

We all have our Warts  We all have our Warts And can carry our loads

( can you see the face? )

Loads we carry

(And How about the Monkey?)

But we all of us Walk our Paths

Trail over the bridge

And ALL Pathways lead us Home!

All paths lead Home

We really are on this Road Together..

Golden Moments

Enjoy your Golden Moments Each and Everyone of you..

Golden Moments

You are never Out there on a Limb ..

You are never out on a limb

Don’t forget your roots.. We are All of us Natures Children

Replenish, and Remember your Roots

We are not alone.. Our strength comes in standing together

Fungi The Trees Communication System

Rose Hips.. Natures own Vitamins Vit C

Nature cures all ills, and brings us inner peace..   All we need is be Grounded as we learn ALL things are in Balance.

Have a wonderful Week all of you.. I  hope you enjoyed my collection of photo’s and Keep Walking on your Path..

And Know the Sun is Always Shinning . Even over the Nettles Patch.

The Sun is always Shinning

Love And Blessings..

~Sue~

We are all walking our roads to peace. Life is just one great big cycle of learning, emotions and understanding where at the end of our life, we can hopefully look back and be happy with what we have learned and how far we have come. Walking on your own in the country (or with a good dog…Earl can NOT be considered to be a “good dog”…a good dog walks with you and never drags you off the edge of the road to hunt for wallabies…) gives you time to think and process and re-evaluate. I love walking and infusing myself with natures natural peace. Everything cycles, everything ebbs and flows and when we allow ourselves to ebb and flow with the rest of the world we find a degree of peace. It is only when we throw ourselves into the mad world of human society that we start to go slightly mad…

If any one knows the connections with Nature and a good walk it is you Narf.. Replenishing walks invigorate us as we absorb what nature has to give.. I wonder how many realise that Nature is a power house for generating Energy into our systems.. I know I spent many years amid the electrical lights and machinery of closed factory floors with no views to the outside. It was like being let out of prison as I breathed in the fresh air of an evening.. Your words are very wise Narf.. 🙂 ❤

I just attended a workshop on healing mushrooms and am awed by the many properties of mushrooms and their mycelium. Maybe bloggers are the mycelium of the internet, connecting and communicating for the whole. 🙂

Many thanks Brad.. Yes the Mushrooms web of intricate systems entwine between the trees of the forest.. If you look at the title of the photo with mushrooms on I have put ” Fungi The Trees communication system ‘ 😀 for indeed we only are just seeing the intricacies of how Nature weaves her magic above and below ground.. I like that idea Brad. that we bloggers are the mycelium of the internet. Great thought! ❤

Many thanks for your compliments VK.. How ever the ‘snap’ photo’s were just that.. Snapped from my mobile/cell phone.. I particularly enjoyed finding those crop of fungi.. and the face in the tree.. Had I had my proper camera with me it may have come clearer.. Only I took a close up on my phone of it, but it came out blurred.. 🙂 Glad you enjoyed the walk.. Hope your weather is improving and not as cold. Hugs DW ❤

        Hi Sue,

Yes with Mars squaring Uranus just after the Mars/Pluto conjunction in Capricorn, I had a huge urge to be creative and first start with thinking about what “had to go” in my own consciousness, answering to what’s been holding me back. You know, clearing my work space 🙂 so to speak.

Mars squaring Uranus had me at my computer wanting to beautify my website (my natal Mars is in Libra), but not feeling like I had ‘command’ of my tools – I decided at first to make it private – and experimented (also Uranus). It got to be a mess.

Remembering that it’s best (for me) to not make sweeping wholesale changes, but just to look at the small things… I went back online with smaller changes. Hopefully for me that’s a lesson learned.

With Uranus, it’s exciting and unpredictable – not always comfortable, but ultimately enlightening. That’s been my sometimes inarticulate path to peace. I never know how it’s going to “show up.” It can be spontaneous.

Sorry to leave you such a long message. I am currently experiencing writer’s block (more like writer’s gridlock: so much to write about and not really the vocabulary to express) about much that has been happening.

Yesterday’s walk was lovely. LOVELY. Serene. I walked through your blog pictures first, and then I walked with my husband out near the mountains here, and around the trails – and thanked GOD for my ability to walk again.

        In peace, Ka

Sounds like you had a wonderful day in the mountains Ka and yes thank God you can walk.. You are a remarkable woman..
I learnt early on about blog changes in themes.. I have viewed many but even though I have tried a few for a few minutes, I always reverted back to the one I had. I change headers and the background images and colour blend ever so slightly from time to time..

But Like you.. I have had the urge to change and alter its colour background.. we will see..

In the mean time my own creativity has been with Knitting needles.. I finished something else off this morning.. And got the urge to start something else straight away..

However I made several mistakes in the first 6 rows I undid it all to start again another day.. So I came on my blog instead..

Tomorrow will be a day with my granddaughter she has a sleep over tonight as her parents go to work really early .. So we have her stay over so not to wake her so early ..
So Blog land will be all quiet again.. 🙂

Good to know you are embracing that which shows up!

          Love back.. Sue

Amy your praise from your expert eye on photography dear friend is Wonderful.. I only took these images with my mobile/cell phone.. so just clicked away… I wanted to show a close up of the growth on the tree like a face, but it came out blurred when I transferred.. And yes it took a while to load and put all the pictures I wanted in order to match what I wanted to convey. So pleased it worked and resonated with you Amy.. That my friend has MADE MY DAY!! 🙂 Thank YOU!… whooooooh! 😀

Wow Sue~ Those are nice. I love that tree.

    The Sound of Trees

    I wonder about the trees.
Why do we wish to bear
    Forever the noise of these
    More than another noise
So close to our dwelling place?
We suffer them by the day
Till we lose all measure of pace,
    And fixity in our joys,
    And acquire a listening air.
They are that that talks of going
    But never gets away;
And that talks no less for knowing,
As it grows wiser and older,
That now it means to stay.
My feet tug at the floor
And my head sways to my shoulder
Sometimes when I watch trees sway,
From the window or the door.
I shall set forth for somewhere,
I shall make the reckless choice
Some day when they are in voice
And tossing so as to scare
The white clouds over them on.
I shall have less to say,
    But I shall be gone.

Everything we do and think affects the people in our lives, and their reactions in turn affect others As the effect of a seemingly insignificant word passes from person to person, its impact grows and can become a source of great joy, inspiration, anxiety, or pain. Your thoughts and actions are like stones dropped into still waters, causing ripples to spread and expand as they move outward.. I hope that I can send a few ripples out via the web of life, as we each of us weave the threads together... Welcome to my Sanctuary of Peace and Love... May we each spread our Lights around our World....Sue Dreamwalker
