The world once more seems to whirl around war
I wonder why man is driven to wield such claws
That gouge out the hearts of many in sorrow
I pray for our future and our children’s tomorrows

You would think by now Man would learn
Instead Nations join, sending missiles to burn
Crimson is the colour of all who bleed
No distinction made, as a mother’s heart pleads
~~
Who IS the terrorist with evil intent??
I ask as the hearts of many lament
We go around in circles War after War
‘War to find Peace!’, we all know the score
~~
War is contrived, planned and staged
War creates Power for the Dark one’s
DISENGAGE!
Can you not see the tunnel we are being led?
Wake up People, Don’t feed into Fear and Dread
Send out your Light, the Gift of your Hearts
Join in a Prayer, for You are where it starts
~~
Peace starts within, We ALL have to change
Unite together, your thoughts rearrange
Hold onto Tolerance, Compassion and Peace
Envision a World where fighting will cease
~~
I can’t change the minds full of evil and hate
I can only change my own before it’s too late
So Light a Candle with me this day
Place Love in your Hearts and Peace as we pray

I am lighting a candle for Peace. I hope you may feel like doing the same..
I had to write a poem tonight to express my thoughts as the world leaders seem intent on more War. All I can do is change my own world and live in harmony and peace within my Now Moments.. I hope as we continue this Earth Journey together we can join together our thoughts and spread more Love and Peace through our world..
I know Love and Harmony of our Collective Consciousness will always Bring Light to extinguish the Dark.. Keep sending out your Ripples of Light..

I am with you Sue. I try to disengage from the news as it disturbs my internal energy. As I have said many times, those in positions of power are politicians and not typically enlightened or very conscious. War is a business and the Western World is about money. Yet more and more people are finding their way back to The Garden.

It is so sad though when Nations fight as they do for its always those who have nothing to do with the initial conflict who end up suffering the most.. Tau Tzu thought governments were useless.
The Buddha was a pacifist, but wars were breaking out all over China.
We can have peace but some will never learn from wise words.

You’d think man would learn by now, I agree! but sometimes I don’t even think some of these “leaders” are human…rather dim forces or entities visiting from some dark place, because there is no logic or desire, it seems, to change this war thing. Some really sadly thrive upon it, financially of course, but for other reasons too, like it’s their entire cause and reason for being, and “they” use all the “key phrases” to lead people along…Psycho-babble?…Maybe…Do I sound like a bad sci-fi movie?!..Probably! Well you probably know what I mean anyway…Great poem, well-stated, peace begins from within for sure XOXO

The deeper I go in my own healing, the more I see that the world is unfolding in a similar way I did for so long..as little separate pieces. I can’t imagine being in the world having not looked deeply inside. It gives me hope that though we are choosing to take the long route, all of it seems to be working toward peace and unity.. the long way around.. I am now thankful for the things that woke me up and the parts in me that were not peaceful. They all played a part of my journey back to my true self. That’s where I get my trust in the unfolding. I would choose a more gentle path of course.♡ Thankful I have the ability to do that now.

Lovely to hear from you Laurie, and I agree, yes it appears we are choosing the longer route but I hope in the long run the results of that choice will be longer lasting in our attempts at finding Peace.. I am sure the Universe has its own plan as it does for our individual learning curves upon our paths.. I read something only yesterday day which spoke to me.. It used the analogy of our muscles saying if we lay down and do nothing our muscles become weaker.. Yet it we walk over obstacles over a long distance our muscles become stronger.. I think our Spirit sometimes has to tread the rougher path in order for its progression to gain strength.. While we may think we do not choose.. May be our path is already set.. Learning to trust the Map of life is sometimes hard to do, especially when we can not read where it may lead us next.. But I do trust that we are all heading in the same direction, all be it some get diverted and lost en-route.. 🙂 I am always thankful for the love and guiding words you leave within your experiences.. And ever grateful that you share them within your posts Lauren..
