Planting a Seed.. A Thought!

William Blake,Said

“that everything that now exists was once imagined,”

Wayne Dyer said.

“So, if you want something to exist, you must first be able to imagine it.”

Each of us have a chance of planting new seeds.. Yet we so often never have the courage to pick them out of our minds to plant them with intention into our reality… Alexander Graham BellThose who do have the courage may see how from their tentative thoughts ideas grew beyond their wildest dreams… I bet Alexander Graham Bell never in his wildest dreams would have thought how his invention would now be in everyone’s pocket!.

But we need to have the courage to take those first steps and plant them..

Like all seeds they take time to germinate, so too with our ideas we often wonder why our wishes are not fulfilled.. All too often we sabotage them before they even begin to grow roots. How?, because we doubt our own capabilities and we say we are far from worthy of success. Telling ourselves we are never lucky.. and its bound to fail.. So we poison the very idea, so the seed withers even before it gets a chance to grow..

Our subconscious mind is an incredible tool, it possess the power to manifest from our thoughts to bring them  into our physical reality. You only have to take a look around the room you are now in, and see that every thing in it was once someone’s thought, even the paint upon the walls… An idea born, brought into reality from that first seed of an idea..

I have just finished a book the second time in reading it, I think this time its message really hit home. As I see how I have sabotaged many such seeds in the past.  The Book is called Wishes Fulfilled By Wayne Dyer, listen to his talk HERE upon the subject of Wishes Fulfilled.

‘Thoughts become things when you Feel them’ says Wayne Dyer, In the past I have often experienced frustration, Anger, worry, stress. These I have amplified with my ‘Feelings’ as the frustration of helplessness, or horror at how brutal we can be to one another have overshadowed my thoughts..

We need to reprogrammed ourselves to think differently about ourselves and the World..

dr-wayne-dyer-quote

Seeds are sown, every day within our minds.. What sort of seeds are you sowing within your own mind? Which type of thoughts are you cultivating?

Wayne Dyer Quote

My last simple post World Peace! Just Imagine  got reblogged 6 times!. I got more traffic today than for a long while..  People Do want Peace, and yet how many of us are being manipulated into getting caught up in Conflict?  We are part of it every time we read a Newspaper, every time we watch the Media News, Every time we join in Gossip, every time we Judge another. Every time we argue, even with ourselves, We are creating yet more Conflict , more Negative Energy in the World.

Our very thoughts Create…

Let us Create the Future we each wish to Live in..

Have a Brilliant Thought Provoking and Harmonious Week!

Blessings

    Blessings to you, Sue!

I know that I personally cannot be reminded *enough* from your post when you write…. “Too often we sabotage [our wishes/dreams/plans] before they even begin to grow roots. How?, because we doubt our own capabilities and we say we are far from worthy of success.” I’ve battled so much self-doubt and watched so many friends and cohorts become complete successes (and supported them and lavished them with attention) only to be asked, “what’s holding you back?” ~A provocative question~ (I always chose friends who would inspire me in some way). I also always started and stopped until I found the deep commitment of self love. Also…

At the time, the question made me angry, but that anger just became fuel for answering the question in a more liberating way. When I asked the question I found a number of excuses in the place of the answer. So, I finally got square with myself (confronted me) and asked: “Who doesn’t say that I’m worthy?” Apparently, the friend inside me (the ‘Me’ of me) defended me. No longer will I be thy own enemy – never again. That was a the beginning of having my first real support, myself. I had to be ‘behind’ me.

GORGEOUS POST~ xx Ka Your posts REV me up… and get me clear about my passions. Let’s drive to liberation from within.

Here’s my fav Wayne Dyer quote. I have it on my mirror: “Change the way you look at things and the things you look at change.”
It always begins inside of us. There is no escaping or explaining away this truth. It is easier to stay on track as a group. You are a constant source of integrity and inspiration Sue.

I will keep my awareness on the open doors as we embark on a series of new openings.

We have a lot of learnt behaviour to contend with often practically from the day we are born. We should be a little gentle with ourselves too and remember each tiny step to breaking free of those behaviours is a pretty giant step in itself! 🙂 xx

I have always loved that saying ” Your mind is a garden, your thoughts are the seeds, you can grow flowers or you can grow weeds! It is all up to us on every level. That is the true meaning of the saying ” we are the ones we have been waiting for”. We’ve always been here, just not awake….Grab your garden gloves and start planting DW… Happy gardening 🙂 Mush love and light to you….VK

I am a great fan of Deren Brown and watched a television special of his a while ago about “luck” in which they made a fake television show about a statue of a dog in a park in a small town in the U.K. and said how when people rubbed the dog, it resulted in good luck. The episode was very clever and showed that mindset is the reason for “good luck” and attitude has an awful lot to do with it as well (glass half full, glass half empty) but it had a side message…one man said that he never had any luck. Deren went about proving to the man that luck is something that you have to “see” but this man was so mired in his own “unluckiness” that he completely didn’t see all of the (Deren made) “opportunities” that kept tumbling in front of him. He just couldn’t see the possibilities with his head down and his mind full of other things. In the end the man had to gamble his savings on whether or not he would be lucky. It was rigged but the man didn’t know it. Deren wanted him to see that sometimes you have to go out on a limb to be open to new things and to take advantage of “luck” and that luck is what you make of it. It certainly made me think…

Yes Luck is indeed created from a perceptive of intent.. I once worked with a colleague who used to play Bingo each week.. She would always be winning something or other.. She would always be telling her colleagues, she was lucky.. And she was, she won a little something most weeks.. But she would also tell us She was waiting for the BIG WIN.. and said she had played for X amount of years and still had never won the BIG ONE..

Sometimes we talk ourselves out of the BIG ONE.. She knew she was ‘Lucky’ and just left that energy alone and so it flowed to her in small winds.. because she accepted that she was lucky and Luck in the form of the energy surrounded her.. So the Universe was aligning with her thoughts of being lucky.. But she blocked the Big win… Saying she was still ‘Waiting!’ for the Big One.. so in affect the Universe was giving her exactly what she was wishing.. As it was keeping her ‘WAITING’…. Energy is Energy… It will deliver…
Thoughts are manifested when we put our intention into them.. ( Feeling ) .. The trick I suppose if there is a trick is to then just allow it to be.. To become.. and not put any expectation upon it..

The best I can say how this worked for us. that we wanted to move home oh some 28 yrs ago now.. We both envisioned the place we wanted.. and then forgot about it.. around 3 yrs later we moved home.. It wasn’t until we revisited what we had both envisioned we realised that we had exactly what we had wished for.. A home with drive, a Greenhouse, a garage, it even had the apple tree… LOL… So did we manifest it.. or was it coincidence??… What ever it was… It worked…
There are so many who have found that manifesting works like this… So yes .. It certainly makes you think….. So its about Intention of thought, feeling it, and then releasing it to take care of itself…… The Mind is a wonderful Tool… And is far more powerful than any of us think.. 🙂 … Great comment of yours.. and hope to be catching up with you shortly too 🙂 xxxx

Never thought much about manifestation before but there is a whole lot in our garden that I would love to grow. I think it might be time to ask the universe for a bit of “luck” when it comes to us creating and developing our edible forest garden. So far, Nature has been handing us a bit of a bum steer…might go over her head eh? 😉

Positive Thinking brings with it positive reactions.. Some times it is so easy to fall into a rut of negativeness .. We must remember that Energy has two forces.. Positive and Negative.. And like a Magnet we can if we are not careful attract similar energies we are feeling.. ‘Like Attracts Like’.. So we then have to learn to break our downward spiral, if we get into one..
Learning to think positive then attracts more positive… That is why I enjoy Wayne Dyer’s books and talks so much.. And if you listen to Abraham Hicks.. You will discover the teachings are similar… in creating health and happiness.. :-)..
Many thanks Kim for your lovely comment and visit

Most do…. And without the distractions of our material baggage and the debt accumulation to buy the needless ‘Things’ most crave to have to keep up with the Jone’s, I think most could live in much more harmonious circumstances, without the stress the material world brings..
Some day… I hope the seeds of living frugally will grow to show how much richer our experience is, as we embrace a more simple way of living which brings us all much closer together as a community.. Oh for the day.. We live in Hope Lois.. xxxx

    Dear Sue,
Beautiful thoughts expressed in “Plant a seed,,a thought”. Yes, indeed, thoughts are like seed only, that require nurturing. Good, noble thoughts require a healthy environment and lots of time and effort to blossom into wisdom and qualities that are of compassion and concern not only for those who are near and dear to you but also for the whole humanity.
    God’s Blessings be with you.

Ah Sweet Sue, such a thoughtful post. I have been contemplating these things lately as things are in such flux and I am a self-sovereign being and take responsibility for my life. Actually love that I am responsible for my life, yet wonder how did I get to where I am sometimes? I think I must unconsciously plant bad seeds sometimes, and they to grow.Insidious weeds as it were.So additionally to nurturing the positive seeds we have to be conscious, diligent gardeners. It is as if my shadow plants seeds of destruction. However sometimes these weeds and the effort it takes to rid my lovely garden of them, makes me stronger and the act of digging them out with my hands in the soil connects me further to the garden.

By the way…I looked up the Dyer book on Amazon and a used copy with shipping is only about $4.40. Yea! First I am going to check the school library.

Hello My Friend, I bet you thought I would be forever off the radar but I am finally seeing light at the end of the tunnel. My work has calmed down a great deal and with the help of my daughter and son-in-law the house is painted. They could only come on Sundays but for two months I spent both Saturday and Sunday repairing, pressure washing and then painting. I did a great portion of the house myself but the higher parts my son-in-law did for me. I was quite exhausted but it has been nearly two weeks now that I am done and I am feeling much better. I have time coming off with a Friday, Monday and Tuesday…plus the weekend…I will feel as though I am on vacation. I have missed your incredible words of encouragement and love what you have posted here. Yes, people want peace, but the human race will forever be flawed in how it determines what means should be used to obtain it. But there is always hope and the belief that things will be better than they are. I hope you are well. Do take care. 🙂

I am so glad I was not wrong last night when I wrote in my previous short comment that we are talking about another sparkling gem… The title and some of the suggestive and evocative quotes I saw at a fleeting glance, were enough for me to understand what will follow …
I carefully listened to W.Dyer’s talk and I have to admit that he is a most influential speaker,a great preacher,a contemporary philosopher…
Great empirical and existential matters he touches and many the seeds he sows. No wonder it is the second time you have read his book
Indeed ! What is real ? Who are we ? And I wonder,is there a Power that predetermines the course of our lives ? Or,we choose the direction we take in our lives. His and your ” I AM ” theory negate the power of Destiny and give stimuli to us to take control of our lives.Yes,we can be anything,we can do anyrthing and accomplish everything, provided we have learnt how to build up our self-esteem and how to manipulate our boundless potentiality.
The laconic aphorism ” “know thyself” will pave the way for the process of our constructive thinking. Is there any posibility to improve something we don’t know ?
Sue Dear, the seeds you plant thrive and the prints you leave in the Universe create a spiritual path that many will follow …
Thank you Sue for your post ! I feel I am larger now …
Love ❤️ and Peace to you 🙂

Your words Sue are actually seeds that you plant in others minds.
In my case it has opened my own mind to the subject of planting the seeds of imagination, I now see on reflection, just how many times I did not even bother planting the seed due to lack of confidence.
Time for me to start again, if the seed doesnt sprout at least I tried.
    A great post Sue.

What a great post. I am blessed to have seen Louise Hay speak once, Gregg Braeden speak twice and Wayne Dyer three amazing times. I am looking forward to reading his new book that is awaiting me on my iPad, I Can See Clearly Now. Not only is he such a wise sage but his stamina and presence are such an inspiration to see him go for three hrs straight on stage. I have found on my journey into a spiritual life that a key to my success each day is to keep surrounding myself with great teachers. You are one of those teachers Sue. Thank you for shining your radiant luminous light into all our worlds. Hugs and love – Lisa

WOW! I am quiet envious and don’t mind saying so lol, at being able to here WD especially.. He is an all time favourite speaker of mine and author.. I have his latest book on my wish list for Christmas LOL.. 🙂 Gregg is also another huge favourite as is Louise.. Brilliant to have had the opportunity to see them speak live. All inspire ..

Lisa.. Thank you most graciously for saying I am a teacher.. I am far from the ones mentioned above.. But I do always feel compelled in making a difference… And I am sure too Lisa you make huge differences to those who you touch in life with your wisdom..
We both try to live by example.. And that in turn spreads our light to help illuminate others into the ways of working with the ‘Light’… THANK YOU!!.. for your Hugs and Love Lisa.. You have made my day to day 🙂 Bless you xxxxx >3

Reblogged this on Dreamwalker's Sanctuary and commented:

As I will be planting a few seeds of my own in the allotment this coming weekend.. I thought to leave you with some thoughts I first aired in 2014.

As these Earth Changes unfold, I see lots of opinions, Anger, judgements, and those who are looking always upon the negative side of life.. Here in the UK its all about Brexit, while in the USA has its own headliners..

I repeat a Quote from Wayne Dyer upon my post which says
” Conflict cannot survive without your participation. ”

Have a wonderful weekend All of you..
    Love and Blessings

I love all of those quotes. And Wayne Dyer always hits the nail on the head. It is interesting that I took a similar example regarding trying something new and not giving up on it too early. I also said that all that we see once wasn’t here and started as an idea. This feels so motivating to me and the proof that all things are possible. We mustn’t be discouraged when our own schedule doesn’t work but trust in the schedule that is needed to make it perfect. A wonderful post again, Sue!

Thank you Erika.. Yes, our own schedule is not always the agenda of the Universal Plan 🙂 , And its often not until we look back that we then see, why something needed time to manifest, or why we had a detour in our road.. Its often through the detours or even the no entry signs on roads that push us to take another route.. And therefore we perhaps find a better view, and more companions with whom our journey is made more meaningful. 🙂
Many thanks again Erika.. I always love hearing your thoughts my friend. ❤

    Hey Sue,

Late to rise I’ve enjoyed something of an extended lie-in this sunny morning musing in the after-glow of fleeting dreams and sleepy transient thoughts. Now that I am awake, I guess its time to substantiate those ephemeral forms, expand them and concretise them in the bright light of day….this is a true labour of love – capitalising upon the whispered motivations underpinning intention making one’s dreams a reality by allowing passion to happen overwhelm take over and guide.

I see ‘thoughtful’ gardening as a mindful state providing focal points upon which to ponder, discard, accept and/or act upon. I think of these times as moments to surrender and submit to, opportunities to listen and hear greater tales told in the silence of fertile ground.

William Blake will always be an inspiration…a genius always expressing the spiritual drama of the human condition. I think he knew a thing of two about inspired perception and aspiring dreams.

Thank you Sue. A wonderful read over an early afternoon cuppa. Enjoy your day at the allotment….no doubt you are planting and holding fast to the vista of a bumper crop….your allotments quantum state.

Take care in the spring sunshine. Tis another beautiful day on Earth.

    Namaste 🙂

P.S: A friend from Raven’s 12 asked me to thank you for your enthusiastic support, encouragement and kindly comments left at Gallyblggers (https://bwbachandtheraven.wordpress.com/). Ragger Man had mentioned you to them when touting for business and chatting about the site. I love it when that happens! 🙂

Thank you Dear Dewin, and please pass on my regars to Ragger Man and colleagues .. 🙂 It is purely my pleasure to be within Ravens Wings. And I half wrote a poem last evening prompted by one of your replies.. And hope when I get around to posting it to link it to your new combined blog..
And Yes, busy as a bee this morning and I saw a few too, always a pleasure.. My arms ache and my hands, so this afternoon the modem is being turned off, as I settle to enjoy a rest with a book..
      Many thanks my friend..
And now I am off to make a cuppa.. 🙂

        Hey Sue,

Speaking for Raven’s 12….our pleasure as always, thank you for making merrier our merry company. Our field is never gated, it’s always open so please come dig yourself a patch whenever you wish to hang out with scarecrows.

We’d be absolutely delighted to be represented on your site Sue. Eager as well to read the poem springing form our exchanges. We enjoyed the banter with you over the weekend and have come away with ideas and smiles to last for a fair while yet. A fair trade we think…kindness exchanged for a poem discussion and company. Creative Magic was the reward for both. A perfect currency to trade. Thank you.

        Busy bee retires for tea.
        Her afternoon modem free.
        Yet bookish she’ll be.
        And comfy too, I hope.
        Trading worn and weary.
        For warmth and words.
        Typed lines on paper.
And the song of evening birds.
        ~

Enjoy your cuppa and quiet evening. Have a great week.

        Take care friend of Ravens.

        Namaste 🙂

Now, I’m thinking a need a William Blake revival moment. 😉
So, I did, and found one for you that I thought you may enjoy: “Songs of Innocence”

    image: http://www.poetry-archive.com/p_pic.gif

    IPING down the valleys wild,
    Piping songs of peasant glee,
    On a cloud I saw a child,
And he, laughing, said to me:

‘Pipe a song about a lamb!’
So I piped with merry cheer.
    ‘Piper, pipe that song again;’
So I piped: he wept to hear.

    ‘Drop thy pipe, thy happy pipe;
Sing thy songs of happy cheer!’
So I sang the same again,
While he wept with joy to hear.

‘Piper, sit thee down and write
In a book, that all may read.’
    So he vanished from my sight;
And I plucked a hollow reed,

And I made a rural pen,
And I stain’d the water clear,
And I wrote my happy songs
Every child may joy to hear.

Each of us, carries within us the capacity to change the world in small ways for better or worse. Everything we do and think affects the people in our lives, and their reactions in turn affect others As the effect of a seemingly insignificant word passes from person to person, its impact grows and can become a source of great joy, inspiration, anxiety, or pain. Your thoughts and actions are like stones dropped into still waters, causing ripples to spread and expand as they move outward.. I hope that I can send a few ripples out via the web of life, as we each of us weave the threads together... Welcome to my Sanctuary of Peace and Love... May we each spread our Lights around our World....Sue Dreamwalker
