To Believe ~ in a Better World

This  Post below is one I first published some years ago…

I recently read the article The Coronation | Charles Eisenstein   an Essay by  Charles Eisenstein. Its a long read but well worth it. And it may enlighten many of you.. And for those not wishing to read you can listen to his podcast here as he reads his essay out  on his thoughts on our Sacred Isolation right now..

I invite you to listen to his words of wisdom.. As we each now have a remarkable choice of  which way we want our world to be built and to heal, and in what manner we want it to thrive.. He paints some real truths of possibilities which we all need to be aware of.

Children for Peace

Standing on the edge of outer space

Have you ever felt yourself in this place?

Alone and yet surrounded by stars

Women are from Venus and men are from Mars.

You look at the world and want to put right

All the wrongs of man, to stop the fights-

Of Nations, whose turmoil is beyond our control,

To stop all the suffering, and end the death toll.

And yet you’re but a spec, just standing on the edge

But the yearning inside me has become more than a pledge.

For to help make a difference is what I do seek

To help and encourage, and to show we’re not weak.

But how can I change the World and her wars?

We first must look within, and look at Universal Laws.

To realise that to change, we must start with our self.

Understanding Love and Compassion is our true wealth.

That to care for each other regardless of our creed

For you cannot gather Gold, and to your children feed.

But alone I stand, just a speck of cosmic dust.

But united together we can reach out and we must-

Succeed in our endeavours to create a better land

For our children’s sake, let’s take each other’s hand.

Unite in one voice that calls out for Peace

I believe we can each make a difference

No longer can we show indifference

We need to Believe in a Better World .

The poem above I wrote in 2008, although I have omitted several verses and added the last sentence to fit in with this post.

Here is a beautiful Song Sung by Jackie Evancho  I had never heard of this remarkable young lady before this weekend.

I hope your hearts will be touched as deeply as mine as we each need

To Believe

in a Better World

Thank you for showing me that video, that sweet girl and her words really touched my heart ❤ I got tears in my eyes, and I would have cried if I had been in a place I could cry. I think we can change the world, I believe that with my whole heart, and I believe that even little me can change, maybe not the whole world alone, but maybe the world of one person or animal or any living being. I can tell someone how beautiful they are and maybe they will start believing in themselves, and then their inner world will change, I can toss starfish and other stranded sea creatures back into the sea, I can give money to a child to get an education and then the life of that child will change, I can comfort someone when they ar crying so maybe they will not feel so alone and perhaps even start believing that the world is full of goodness and love. Yesterday I had two people telling me I was looking so very pretty, I mean, I know that it is just a small compliment, but it made me smile and I felt that people were nice, and that is at least something small we all can do, just giving someone a compliment or a kind word. Little things to change the world, one act of kindness at the time 🙂 ❤

Just like you Line, I allowed the tears to flow.. as I sent up my own little prayer that we can help heal the world.. There are many who like us Line are spreading out their love and light.. We only get to hear about the darker side.. I do believe one day a better world will emerge from the ashes we are creating… And those who will spring forth will understand the meaning of Love.. I have to believe… That we will eventually Learn.. xxx Bless you xox Sue

    CELESTIAL

I hear Men are from Mars
    Women are from Venus
    Well I arrived in Cancer

    And hail from the Moon
    One In constant change
    Think “Wax on, wax off”

    An oblique instruction
I will not feed the cancer
    I see destroying the Earth

Yes the Media repeats constantly the many pains of hearts around the world.. But I know also that there are many such as your good self who are opening up their hearts to love and light… We are the silence majority as your title so aptly is named.. We work in the background projecting our love and compassion, joy and light… When so many candles are lit, we will help illuminate the world… Keep your own light shining brightly my friend.. You shine! 🙂

To not believe Cat is to give in.. and I have Faith that among the many sad stories we hear about.. There are Trillions of happy ones we never get to know.. Life is being portrayed and also manipulated to be very fearful right now.. in the hope that Fear can once again cast its shadows of darkness.. The LIGHT of many lights though are not going to allow it.. So the battle commences.. Today is a new Dawn dear Cat.. and I thank you for holding my hand to a new day 🙂 love to you xox sister xx

Your beautiful verse tells the story of what lies ahead for mankind if we do not recognize the error of our ways. A good heart, loving kindness, and the expression of compassion as you have done here, will some day overpower lies, brutality and war. Changes are in our midst. in love and light, Eddie

I like the part of your poem which says:

“Understanding Love and Compassion is our true wealth.
That to care for each other regardless of our creed
For you cannot gather Gold, and to your children feed”

Thanks for introducing me to Jackie Evancho, I had no idea such a young soprano existed!

We may feel alone Sue in our dreams for world peace, love and compassion.
We may feel like a speck of dust in the Cosmos, but there are lots of specks of dust just like us.
Together we form the Milky Way

Each of us, carries within us the capacity to change the world in small ways for better or worse. Everything we do and think affects the people in our lives, and their reactions in turn affect others As the effect of a seemingly insignificant word passes from person to person, its impact grows and can become a source of great joy, inspiration, anxiety, or pain. Your thoughts and actions are like stones dropped into still waters, causing ripples to spread and expand as they move outward.. I hope that I can send a few ripples out via the web of life, as we each of us weave the threads together... Welcome to my Sanctuary of Peace and Love... May we each spread our Lights around our World....Sue Dreamwalker
