Look Within your Heart ~ Poem

Look within Your Heart

Seek out your dreams look into your heart

Follow your guidance, a path you will start

Listen to the voice which cries to be heard

Push back your ego, listen and learn

~

Trust in your senses and follow their lead

Our instincts are gifts which all should pay heed

Go out into Nature and open your mind

All are connected- just look and you’ll find

~

Peace we all seek as the battles do rage

The solutions are within, become your own Sage

Your heart knows the rights from the wrong

Become your own Guru and Sing your own Song

~

To Grow- we need to reach up to the Light

Life isn’t meant to struggle, or be in constant fight

Look out in Nature she shows us the way

All things are balanced both in work and play

~

And once you’ve opened the heart of yourself

You’ll realise the beauty of holding true wealth

It’s not found in Gold that we dig from the ground

Pure nuggets are LOVE, so spread some around

~

Once you discover the Gems of pure Love

You’ll shine out your happiness like rainbows above

The colours of Life will mix and will blend

As your heart beats as One with the love that you send..

The above poem I wrote two weeks ago, as I was inspired in the early hours as I awoke and reached for pen and my journal..  I often  feel sorry for those whose lives revolves around money, and all it can buy. When in reality the true treasures are within our hearts and all around us within Mother Nature..

This is the real wealth we should be treasuring and nurturing. Enjoy your Week as we head into July… Another month gone all too quickly… Treasure each sacred moment.

Quote:

“Love, joy, and peace cannot flourish until you have freed yourself from mind dominance”

From ‘The Power of Now’ by Echart Tolle.

Such a beautiful beautiful poem Sue!! I love it! 🙂 Mother Nature is the loveliest mother, and we need to take care of her, and respect her and show her how much we love her, just like we would with our human mothers 🙂 We will go and visit our mothers and drink tea with them and talk and eat cake, and maybe we can do that with Mother Nature also. Just spend time with her, be with her and talk to her, and I am sure she will give us some lovely blueberries to eat, and a pretty pink flower to put in our hair! 🙂

Inspiring words, Sue! I love the parts about being our own sages and gurus and singing our own songs. ‘Nuggets’ of Love sound so solid and dependable, not ‘airy~fairy’, difficult to grasp and all too easy to lose hold of. We are rich beyond our wildest dreams, if we only take time to notice and learn from Nature ~ this beauty money can’t buy! 🙂

Exactly Jacqueline, ALL Free!… and yet so many plunder to pillage and own and exploit Mother Nature… Destroying as they go… I am reminded about the Native American Indians who said..
When all the trees have been cut down,
when all the animals have been hunted,
when all the waters are polluted,
when all the air is unsafe to breathe,
only then will you discover you cannot eat money.

As always dearest Sue it is within that true wealth, power and love reside. If only we could remember the art of mining within to find your nuggets which are shining brightly and there for the asking, the searching and the finding. Love David

We can only keep on digging David, and once in a while we come across a pure Gem… Usually they are often all on the same pathway, as we seem to go down the Mine together to bring back our individual treasures we keep on sharing with each other and the world.. Thank you for your lovely comment David.. Keep that Davy Lamp lit! 🙂 😉 xxx

This is a lovely poem Sue. I think that idea of growth is such an important one. In a way, if we’re not continually growing, learning etc., we’re stagnating and wasting so much of our potential. We need to feed ourselves with good nutrients – like our garden plants – and then we can see ourselves flourish! Lovely post my friend. Much love, Ruth xx

Yes Ruth you are so correct.. we do waste such a lot of our potential and time in needless worry and concentrating upon the trivia and thinking the material is all there is.. When in fact without Nature we are nothing! .. Much love back dear Ruth xox

We have so lost our connection with our Earth Mother Christy.. and have forgotten how to use our senses… So we all need to get in tune again with our intuition and be guided by our senses again..

My family made me steal food when I was little. here is a “funny” story … one day I milked a cow in some pasture belonging to some farmer … I only got a cup full, then then i had to run for cover, because of those clumps of earth attacking me out of no where 🙂 … I like money … I make … and I share … always … Love you, Sue, cat.

Dear Cat, yes there is stealing, and then there is needing to live.. And Money makes everyone’s life go around dear friend, including mine.. We live in a world geared up for Money, this is the material world..

But many do not share.. and you can often find those who have more tend to be greedy and not share, especially with the poor.. .. And those in the Top seats of Power are going to be in for a wake up call in the near future … As the imbalance needs addressing .. But Maybe Mother Nature will beat Humanity to it.. 😉 xxx

Good spirits are sometimes hard to find,
But when we do, their light will shine!

We are conditioned from the day that we are born to sit still, pay attention and do what we are told. It flies in the face of danger for most of us to just go with the flow and listen to what our bodies are telling us. Lovely poem Sue and a great reminder that we need to be more closely in tune with nature and our senses than have ourselves pinned to social media and the cut and thrust of our artificial world that would have us race around like chooks with their heads cut off in order to satisfy “the man”. Just stopping still for a moment…breathing deeply, releasing that breath slowly and focusing on something real for a change is a most liberating and blissful experience 🙂

I couldn’t agree with you more Narf, and thats the only way I escape, to switch off and get out and get your hands dirty in the earth… This is what living is about, and its so good when you toil and reap… 🙂 nothing more satisfying than connecting with nature and then feeling the exchange of energy.. 🙂

Yes, so many of us DO hear it.. that is heart warming in its self.. Yet so many are out of step with their own intuition .. And fail to follow their own inner promptings or guidance from their inner voice… Many sheep bleating not knowing which direction to take, relying upon the media to tell them what to wear, to eat, and how to spend, and get into the spiral of debts..
Yes.. we either hear it or not! sad really..

Each of us, carries within us the capacity to change the world in small ways for better or worse. Everything we do and think affects the people in our lives, and their reactions in turn affect others As the effect of a seemingly insignificant word passes from person to person, its impact grows and can become a source of great joy, inspiration, anxiety, or pain. Your thoughts and actions are like stones dropped into still waters, causing ripples to spread and expand as they move outward.. I hope that I can send a few ripples out via the web of life, as we each of us weave the threads together... Welcome to my Sanctuary of Peace and Love... May we each spread our Lights around our World....Sue Dreamwalker
