There is something about the sunrise and the first few hours of the morning that make us feel awake and rejuvenated ready to move forward in our day. Today was such a day, as the cold crisp air bit into my face as I put on my wellington boots to head out with my Hubby to the allotment garden.
There is something about a Sunrise and a Sunset that pulls us to stop and just drink in its beauty.. Today was such a day, This morning the Sun revived me, and as it set this evening the Sun cast its golden glow across the sky. And I reflected how fast the day had just disappeared..
I have been reflecting much recently as I visit various posts around WP and I often smile to myself at how wonderful the Universe works as I see so how our collective thoughts are tapping into similar themes ..
These last few days many posts have been touching upon perspective, and how we are perceiving the world events and our lives, as we each of us embrace the shifts within our own lives..
I smile even wider knowing that the ‘Shift’ is happening, and our questioning of life and our environment is now leading us to question ourselves..
We may feel guilty and angry at ourselves or even feel a bit of a hypocrite for not being able to help change the world into the peaceful environmentally friendly place we all crave to live.. I know I often get frustrated thinking my own efforts are so small, and we have got so much further to go to achieve Peace and Unity and stop the destruction of our environment.
It isn’t always easy to meet the expectations we hold ourselves to. Just because we are devoted to following a spiritual path, or living a specific ideology doesn’t mean we should expect to achieve perfection. We have to remember we are each of us going through our own personal changes/evolution, and we are all of us going through our own personal ‘Shift’s in energy, as we mirror each other and the world.
Each day we are provided with opportunities that can allow us to transform to become the best we can be.. And that is all we can do, try our best.
Change is constantly happening in all our lives. Change is happening everyday in our environment. And how we perceive those changes may be different for each and everyone of us..
When we Wake Up to ourselves and those changes we often experience a Shift in our Perception. Awareness is when we are able to realize what we are doing. We observe ourselves, noticing our reactions, and choices.
We also begin to realize that we are responsible for our behaviours, we are responsible for changes that we want to happen. Whether we are aware of them or not, our behaviours and choices are always ours to make.
Many may feel they are stuck in a rut, and are making no headway in creating a world of Unity and Peace.. But like my allotment garden, the ground needs to be well prepared, we need to turn the earth and get rid of the debris and choking weeds to give the plants the best chance to grow..
We need all the elements to pull together, We Need the correct amounts of Sun and Rain, too much of either causes an imbalance, the land becoming parched or flooded…
We too need balance.. We are sowing the seeds, we are working the earth by tilling our thoughts and sewing them. A garden doesn’t grow over night.. We need patience. Knowing that we are ALL of us here within this Cosmic Garden and all of us are here playing our parts, Some are tillers, some of planters, and some are weeds,… But we are all of us growing, learning and moving forward within our own individual paths. Be that the high road or low road..
Like that Sunrise, and Sunset, the Sun is there in the sky for all to see, and yet everyone around the world sees it from their own perspective..
I hope as the Sun rises to greet you in your new day,and wherever you are may it brings with it warmth, and may it light your way to a brand new day.
Blessings Sue Dreamwalker

One of the beautiful things about the sun is that unless something horrible happened every human being that ever lived or will ever live until its ending will have seen the sun and drawn their own truth from it.

Driving home tonight the Sun was low in the sky and large giving its golden glow that bedazzled the motorist… The Sun and Moon hold us in their spell… And One can see why in ancient times we had Sun Gods.. 🙂 The Truth is still unravelling and we are all of us seeing those rays of light in our lives as we awaken to the damage we are doing to our World. That is my hope, not sure if I believe it deep down yet, but I am seeing signs of the younger generation doing more than I thought they would and that is the best news for me as they are the ones who will have to clean up our mess.

This is beautiful Sue. What broke you? What caused your FMS? I think one of the hardest things is waking up in the mornings and knowing no one is there. I used to love gardening but even that doesn’t happen any more love xxx

My Breakdown happened in 94 and FMS was brought on by several factors over a period of time both separate and yet both connected!… and my FMS became full blown in 2002..when I was finally diagnosed.. but the most important thing was that I could see how the emotions I had held within had contributed to my complaint… Thats why I worked upon my ‘Energy Body’ and for me Qi-Gong exercises and Breathing worked wonders… For a time I couldnt garden, and found it difficult to walk, climb stairs even and function as pain levels were quite bad along with fatigue.. But after several months of Qi Gong and changing my Career Path, I improved my health.. as I threw away the prescribed pain-killers which were then causing me other health issues.. ..
I set myself small targets achievable ones Ironing small amounts, cleaning only one or two windows, It helped having a wonderful family without whom I could not have managed! 🙂

Thank you for sharing this with me. Mine also came about through many little things and has the specialist that diagnosed me said your mind and your body has had enough and she was so right. I was diagnosed a year ago after having lots of ongoing joint, muscle, depression, IBS, migraine which all seemed unrelated but i now know it was my body telling me i was in trouble. Life and work were busy and then 2 years i had a fall down stairs and hurt my knee and had to stop and the FMS took over. I am fighting back but it sometimes feels like 2 steps forward and 1 back, but then i look at my daily life and realise i have let slip the things that were helping such as meditation, a good diet and some gentle exercise. The pain is bad, walking upstairs is just possible and the exhaustion puts me in bed nearly every afternoon. If sleep is what i need then it is time my body had lots of it. I believe my mind broke my body and it is only through accepting the things of the past that i cannot change that i will be able to gain any type of normality in my life. For now my life is has it is and i accept that. xxx

Knowing we have created our illness is a great step, Knowing you can Heal yourself is an even Greater One… One step at a time my friend and we can create miracles … We just need faith to believe in ourselves… The first steps I did was to learn to breathe… in love and light, and breath out pain…… small steps! One at a time…

What popped out at me as I read your post DW was one solitary word. That word was RESPONSIBILITY. Isn’t that what this whole shift is really all about? Finally coming to the realization that we are responsible for the state of the world and the state of our own lives? That we are in fact creators? Thanks for the great post. It speaks well to where we are at on this journey. Embrace the sunsets my friend, beauty is what helps to keep us balanced…Blessings…VK

Did you know (I didn’t, until recently)… the sun doesn’t set (or rise) at the point where it looks as though it has finished setting (or rising). It has fully set (risen) near the point where it looks as though it has only just begun to set (rise). (The reason for this is the lensing effect of our atmosphere.)
And (of course) it’s not the sun’s movement that causes sunrises and sunsets, though it appears to be that way: it’s the rotation of the Earth itself that does it.
Also, there’s the contradictionary* item that moonshine isn’t anything of the sort (it’s reflected sunshine).
I like little snippets like that because they help to remind me that things aren’t always as they seem.
* Note: made up word!

I didn’t have time to comment yesterday, Sue, so sorry about that, but I’m back now to share my thoughts on this. I love both the sunrise and sunsets, dawn and dusk. Both relaxing times, where I feel energies are adjusting… balancing… if that makes sense… either getting ready for the day ahead or adjusting (or recovering!) from it. I learned a little lesson this morning that I hope will make me better in one area of my life, but I also want to see changes for the better in others. In time I will, but each change will have to be dealt with one day at a time I suppose. Thanks for another great post, Sue!

Thank you again, we are all of us playing our parts even the darker ones upon our planet.. each is a piece which slots into another, we learn not only from the good, but also from the bad.. for without mistakes we do not learn and grow… Even the best of farmers sows seeds on infertile ground, and we can all of us choke ourselves with too much fertilizer too… Balance is the key in all things..:-) Many thanks for your feedback and commenting 🙂 Sue
