Each year we, the Dreamwalker Household plant our Allotment with a selection of Vegetables. On the right you see the beginnings of Life. On Sunday I planted Sweet-corn, Runner Beans, Cauliflower, Cabbage, and Sprouts, and Broccoli etc. A higgledy mess at the moment in our Green house.
I am going to open up a Fresh Page called GROWING YOUR OWN. Where I hope to show the progress through out this year of our Vegetable patch in the Allotments..
Allotments are very popular here, with people who want to grow their own crops, and for those of you who have grown your own, you understand why. They taste as vegetables should taste, and you know that they haven’t been covered in herbicides. Where I live the allotments are only a few minutes walk away, The land was donated by the Duke of Portland who designated it as Freehold for the use of Allotments Gardens for the common man a couple of generations ago now.
Why am I starting a Page about Vegetable growing? We as a family have grown our own for a number of years since our children were small, and love our fresh vegetables and fruits such as strawberries, Raspberries, Rhubarb, Gooseberries and lots of Blackberries.. I Feel now as we are heading into our Earth Changes at speed, its important for others to start and understand how fragile our economy is, and how we can soon get caught out when things start to crumble..
We only need but see how people panic buy when the shops close for a couple of days, and while I do not wish this post to sound negative, We have all of us got to open up our eyes more to what is taking place around this world, as the huge corporations take over crippling our rights to grow our own Food. As they( genetically modify , part 1) (for part 2 & 3 click links 2 and Links 3 of this story of GM Products, you will be amazed and concerned at the findings by scientists as animals die, Cancers are detected and Allergies occur as authorities condone and endorse these products where testing has been proven to be inadequate in Soya Modified crops. )
For those who have heard of Findhorn Foundation in Scotland you can see how from one persons Vision a whole community and way of life was born, around sustaining themselves and eco living. It now has one of the lowest ecological footprints in the developed world and it has also gained United Nations recognition, also seeding other communities around the world as a founder member of the Global Eco-village Network.
The reason I want you to explore Findhorn is that it is also a centre for Holistic Learning, which each year attracts Students and Seekers from around our World.~I need you to start and think again outside your boxes, As we go through our Earth changes there will come a time when our electronic systems will be of little use.. and for those who may laugh and scoff, while I wouldn’t want to have the last laugh, I would want to think I was in some way prepared!.. You need to start and rely upon your intuition more as we open up our Hearts Centres we will see communities needing to pull together once more.. We have only just begun to see the changes taking place.. As our Weather patterns alter and our Earth starts to shake us up to some truths..
The media are not informing us of the consequences of the Suns solar flares, or the probable volcanic eruptions which are starting now to accelerate at an alarming rate around our world. Nor are they telling us of the Military manoeuvres in the Middle East.. But again I ask you to look outside your boxes and inform yourselves, Do not ever take my word on any thing.. Question and seek your own answers..
This post while I want it to remain as positive as it can be, I also think its time now to Wake up to the many destructive forces taking place around our world.. Which many have their eyes closed to.
I remember only in March 2010 when the Iceland volcano (Eyjafjallajökull) erupted spewing larva and ash into the air how it grounded planes.. It wasn’t long before the Fresh Vegetables and Fruits dried up in our Supermarkets as no imports were getting in from abroad via plane.. The knock on effects do not take long to overspill to the consumer who as we have only just seen here in the UK react in mad panic when told there is going to be a shortage as we have just witnessed with the Mad dash to fill up our Cars with Petrol, which all stemmed from an official government rumour.
So as I am always asking you to open your hearts and give of yourselves, as I ask you to promote positivity and kindness which brings our communities together..I am also asking you to start and think about our modern day resources and how you would perhaps cope if suddenly you didn’t have them at your finger tips?
Getting in touch with Nature, just planting a few flower seeds is a start.. We have to start and look at the teachings of our Native American Indian Brothers once again as we connect back to Mother Earth helping her and ourselves to heal..
So I will leave you with this quote..
Lakota Instructions for Living
Friend do it this way – that is,
whatever you do in life,
do the very best you can
with both your heart and mind.
~
And if you do it that way,
the Power Of The Universe
will come to your assistance,
if your heart and mind are in Unity.
~
When one sits in the Hoop Of The People,
one must be responsible because
All of Creation is related.
And the hurt of one is the hurt of all.
And the honor of one is the honor of all.
~
And whatever we do effects everything in the universe.
If you do it that way – that is,
if you truly join your heart and mind
as One – whatever you ask for,
that’s the Way It’s Going To Be.
~

Hey DW….Got my seeds growing and plants I have kept growing all winter under lights. I am ready! I just ordered asparagus and thornless raspberries for the new house as well. They already have apple trees, peach trees, pear trees and blueberry bushes so I will be all set! I love this time of year. Tending to your own needs is so self satisfying, not to mention the peace putting your hands in the soil brings and the cooking up of your rewards. Good deal all around. Have fun and I will love to watch your garden grow via your new page!! Thanks….VK 🙂

Hi Rosemary, why not trying to grow some Runnerbeans in some deep pots with canes up like a wigwam, They look ornimental on the patio or back garden, with lots of flowers for bees, and you can get to pick them straight for the kitchen sunday lunch.. 🙂 Also why not try some Carrots in pots, they need to be around 3 foot of the ground so the carrot fly cant get at them.. you might amaze yourself.. 🙂

Dear, dear Sue–this is one of your most inspirting posts I have read to date. You know I am totally with you about the rapidly approaching times of convergence and the times when we will need to grown our own food and build our own structures and learn how to keep warm from very little around us. I am already living this way a great deal. I tell everyone who sees me walking to perform errands and commute: “I am protesting and testifying with these feet!” So glad you gave us easy links to the holistic groups already so successful. A great deal of practical help and encouragement to be found there.

Hi Granbee, yes the time us upon us my friend, where we need others now to see this way of being we have created will not last forever. And to understand we have created this world via our thoughts and expectations.. It will not be long before we can see the walls come a tumbling down..
We owe it now to ourselves and our families and friends who will listen that they need to wake up to what is happening as Fear is being spread, as our societies are getting sucked in, poisoned and indoctrinated into a way of being that was never meant to be..
We Can only all do our best, with the tools we have.. But what Great Tools! The very best invented… ‘Our Minds’ for we can and we will create a better place of Being .. But we have to battle with the Negative Dark forces which are doing their utmost in their own final last stand to as they bring down more Fear upon us.. We need to keep beating our Drums Granbee and spreading that vibration of Love and Light where ever we go.. because WE DO CREATE our World.. Let us ensure its one in which we want our Grandchildren to grow up in Peace and Harmony.. Much love to you my friend

Thank you Androgoth, Vegetable growing is something that has been past down throughout my own generations as my Dad grew all his own, as did both my Grandads.. You can not beat the taste and when you look at the results of GM crops and all the additives within our Fast Foods is it any wonder our bodies are now full of allergies etc… Thank you for adding your thoughts Andro, I have to catch up with your own posts again as I see you have been busy over Easter 🙂 ~Sue

A superb and excellent blog Sue,you are so right in the flow on effect when countries cannot import and have to become self sustaining, society has become to indoctrinated into the supermarket mentality, the future will come sooner than people realize and not only petrol but basic commodities will be scarce, this scenario is already beginning and America is setting up for it now, google FEMA or youtube Sue and see what you make of the Fema setup, I was going to blog about it but decided not to,its too overwhelming and unbelievable even for me to comprehend
Cheers girl and keep smiling

Many thanks Ian, yes I know all about FEMA have done for several years now and lots of other things which one would rather not believe that those who govern are capable of.. But if you really search you can find out much, but we have to also discern and sort out that which is fact and that which is Fear-Mongering.. For there is much out their which is adding to that Fear-state which is a deliberate attempt in keeping the control of the masses.. This is why the media is being used to great effect in this way.. And you are quite right, in adding such things to our blogs only creates and adds to that negative vibration we want to escape from..
But at the same time we should be aware of what is happening and how our world is being ruled, and how we can help our world overcome and lift in its vibration to beat those negative dark forces .. So we do have to touch upon the negative to enable others to see and judge and seek that truth which the likes of you and I have already put together.. There has to be balance in all things, for without the negative we would not have positive.. But our world has become out of balance and this is what needs to be addressed.
This World is about to be turned on its head, and the more we can get to think positive and understand that it is via our THINKING which has created our world, It is also via our THINKING that we can re-create the type of world which we want our Grandchildren to be brought up in.. So we need to Think Peace and Harmony, treating each other with that ‘kindness’ I speak about for what goes around comes around.. If we want a Harmonious world, then we have to start with ourselves and create within ourselves a more harmonious way of being with one another.. As we start to live from our Hearts Centre once again.
We are all of us Part of the Whole, and each of us have our parts to play.. Blessings sent your way to you and yours.. ~Sue

A lovely post Sue! Although I can’t grow my own due to a back problem, I have been stocking up gradually and have been prepared and ready for the past eight months. However…..the more we focus on Love, on bringing in more Light and the kind of world we do want to live in, the more likely we are to avert the worst kind of Earth changes. As you say, we are powerful Beings of Light, who can create our lives by focusing on and spreading Love and Light.

I agree with you Gabrielle, the more of us who focus on Love only creates more Light in the world.. But being prepared too is sensible the feeling I get is making my own senses pick up on alert, so We need to be aware, as we open our Hearts to others as we bring that awareness of Light into their lives, but also Open our Eyes to what is happening around our Globe which can plunge us into confusion.. What we think we create, and I hope we can create with our collective thoughts a more Harmonious world of Peace… Double ((Hugs)) back my friend.

Many I think Deb are waking up now to certain FACTs that for some time many have sat upon.. Including myself, I am all for people discovering facts for themselves, but it never does any harm to give them a few pointers along the way 🙂 As Time now is speeding and we need the Light to shine ever brighter in those Darkened corners..

Fresh food…growing your own…nothing beats the taste and the satisfaction! Working the land…our richest source of nourishment…unless of course you’re unlucky enough to be in Japan where the land is now poisoned and will remain contaminated with radio active nuclicides for what for the people it actually matters to…not us it would seem…will be forever…in terms of their own lifespans…we just take the alternative route and use pesticides and GM crops 🙂 Love the idea of your new page, growing your own is wonderful when you can…nice organic compost could result from the leftovers too!
