Roads End.

Roads End.

Clouds at last lift from my sky

As the road is straighter I travel by

Home is still a little ways off

The journey of discovery is it ever enough?

Do we stop to be grateful for the road we tread?

Have you ever questioned what lies ahead?

Do you now seek the key to your life?

Why is it some suffer and endure such strife?

When did you say thank you for the road that you travelled

Unlocking the doors you become less ravelled

For one by one we see the lessons unfold

Bringing us strength, helping us be bold.

So as you step upon your path today

Send out a thought of thanks to say

I’m grateful for this path that I am on

For many souls who would have loved to walk my path have now gone

They’re already exploring beyond this veil

Leaving behind only a memory trail

And that my friends is all we will take

So enjoy your Life’s Path and the memories you create

Let them be happy within your own heart

Cherish them close to take with you when you depart

Clear you mind of the bitter clouds

That inhibit your path as you struggle and frown

Walk tall and smile if you can

And remember

We are all part of a huge Divine Plan.

I look forward to the next bend or an open door, bask in the moment and hope I have learned from where I been so I don’t need to learn again. Perhaps life is my school…and I do enjoy a good teacher.
    Thinking good thoughts,

Hi Raven thank you for all you comments, Yes Life is certainly a teacher, we are all upon our own journey of discovery.. and I am sure once one lesson is learned we have no need to revisit it.. But while ever we havent learnt from it.. the same lessons keep coming back for us to climb over.. Good Intent and Happy thoughts always bring positive results. ~Dreamwalker~

I always pray for the less fortunate souls other than yourself, who haven’t had easy roads to walk and unfortunately to walk the path of unhappiness…. I’m always happy to hear that you have been contented with your journey through life and may it stay this way for you….
Like the poem it’s so true….

Hi Sue. Lovely poem. I have just read it as I start my new day. Will remember the words as I go about my day. Life is hard not only for me but for others who walk this life. We all find it difficult and try to comprehend why we are here. Its difficult to understand that we are here to learn and that we are spirit. We set out a plan but unfortunaltely or fortunately others pass and interweave within our paths that we have set out for ourselves. This is also something that I find difficult that we come into this world having said what lessons we want to learn and things to do. Much love to you Sue. Anita.xx

Hi Anita, 🙂 I am so pleased you commented at the start of your New Day…Those who interweave within our path do so for a reason, no one I believe come into our lives without not leaving a gift for us to learn from.. Even those whom have caused us pain bring with them the potential gift of compassion and forgiveness, and learning to let go.. even if it may take time in doing so.. We have to also remember Life is also like a story with the seperate chapters, each one a continued episode with a theme perhaps not as yet perfected.. All we can do is keep being the best we can.. 🙂

Always enjoy and receive a learning from your writings Sue , you my friend appear to see the path before you with such clarity , your words
For one by one we see the lessons unfold
are a lesson on their own for those to accept what they learn and use.
    Thank you Sue

I wish Ian,,,, I could see my own path clearly… others I have no problems lol.. but like everyone else here on this Earth we are here to learn, and I just have learnt over the years to trust my own instincts and notice the signs that have been put on the path and follow them… and I still stumble and graze my knees sometimes… but I get up and dust myself off and learn from it and learn to step over it or go around the obstacle next time.. For all lessons only repeat until we have learnt from them… I have learnt how to be an expert hurdler over the last 10 yrs Ian.. LOL. 😉

Each of us, carries within us the capacity to change the world in small ways for better or worse. Everything we do and think affects the people in our lives, and their reactions in turn affect others As the effect of a seemingly insignificant word passes from person to person, its impact grows and can become a source of great joy, inspiration, anxiety, or pain. Your thoughts and actions are like stones dropped into still waters, causing ripples to spread and expand as they move outward.. I hope that I can send a few ripples out via the web of life, as we each of us weave the threads together... Welcome to my Sanctuary of Peace and Love... May we each spread our Lights around our World....Sue Dreamwalker
