Winters Gifts.

Saturday morning we awoke to a blanket of snow, and it couldn’t have timed itself better as I started my long weekend break.. It was such a beautiful sunny day, cold, but so refreshing.. I just love to feel the crisp snow under foot and the sharp cold air on my face it wakens one up to all that is around.. There are just thousands of berries on the trees this year, a sure sign of a harsh winter to come, and its come early in the U.K. this year. Nature always seems to know in advance what she is going to do..

Have you ever considered just how finely balanced nature is? She knows to provide the Berries for the birds, and as you take a stroll along the country lanes you see how the leaves beneath the hedgerows provide the shelter for the hedgehogs, and its just where the snow doesn’t always settle so you see the Blackbirds and Thrushes picking their way through the dried fallen leaves in search of food.

Many trees especially the Oaks pictured above still haven’t shed their leaves, and the wood looks a wonderland of colour with the Pines coated in snow behind the colourful trees still in leaf as pictured here below.

I always find that a spell outside in nature cleanses the soul, as I breath in the fresh air and shed my thoughts that have attached themselves to me during my busy week at work. We get bogged down with the clutter of life in this material world, we often forget to shed our thoughts like the leaves upon the trees..

So I cleanse my Aura as I pull in the Light of all that is pure and full of Life and love as I look about me at what we so often take for granted… Even the Air we breath, for in this cold air I’m reminded yet again that each breath is given by these beautiful tree, and I send them my gratitude.

I’m able to let my troubles go like the leaves, as they shed them for their time of sleep as they gather themselves ready for another spurt of growth in the Spring..

I know too that each of us have periods of those long dark winter nights when we feel the sun no longer shines upon us.. But we are all part of the cycles of life as we learn and grow I too understand we have those moments of disappointments, and hurts, but each one reminds me that without the winters in our lives, we would never truly enjoy our Spring or play in our Summertime’s of our lives..

So Enjoy the Gifts winter has to offer, and embrace those moments when your life seems to have come to a halt, for its just resting waiting for the next stage in your Growth upon our life’s journey

Poetry in motion Sue , your pictures and descriptions of what you see and feel around you are a delight to see and read , you make one feel as though they are there with you holding your hand and seeing and feeling the wonderment of nature with you and through your eyes and heart . To truly be as one with nature as you describe is a joy that many would love to be and feel yet nature is all around at all times for all to feel and experience if only our eyes were not blinkered by the mundane trivia of this world , thanks for taking me on this journey of love and experience Sue

Each of us, carries within us the capacity to change the world in small ways for better or worse. Everything we do and think affects the people in our lives, and their reactions in turn affect others As the effect of a seemingly insignificant word passes from person to person, its impact grows and can become a source of great joy, inspiration, anxiety, or pain. Your thoughts and actions are like stones dropped into still waters, causing ripples to spread and expand as they move outward.. I hope that I can send a few ripples out via the web of life, as we each of us weave the threads together... Welcome to my Sanctuary of Peace and Love... May we each spread our Lights around our World....Sue Dreamwalker
