Open Mind

Help me to find that wondrous place

Release me from this darkened space

A mind of turmoil and jumble

Hold me fast, don’t let me stumble.

 

Clear me a space within my mind

I seek to rejoice in all I find

Let go of Guilt, and never judge

To hold onto Faith, harbour no grudge

 

To float on a whim, and fly with the absurd

Laugh like a clown, be free like the bird.

To soar to the heights of ecstasy

Weaving the threads of Life’s Tapestry.

 

Creating a blanket of silver and gold

Protecting the young, one has to be bold.

A Vision Quest, A thought that grows strong

Bringing forward a future we all belong.

 

Let this space be pure and bright

Release me and others who face this plight

Allow me to listen to that musical soul

To sing and rejoice, be Free and whole.

 

Clear out the shadows of doubtful debate

Put aside our differences, anger and hate.

Unite together in common good and deeds

Help me spread the light of human seeds.

 

Scatter them far, help others to see

There is hope for you and me

Keep our love safe, embrace that peace

At last I’m found….. Release………. Release!
