Sitting upon the edge of time,
I call your name and pray you’re fine
The Moon her light reflects in sky
As in my loneliness I cry.
I look towards my guiding star
I feel your love, it’s there you are
Your light does enter within my soul
Can you forgive me, I was a fool.
I never meant to hurt you so
I never meant for you to go
I hear your voice a thousand times
It echoes like the tinkling chimes
I hear your laughter, I see your smile
As I sit here awhile.
You pieced my heart, entwined with love
I bleed for you, my Angel dove
All I have to do is fall
And but leave this empty wall.
I see now through the sting of tears
Your lights rush around, to calm my fears
They sooth my tired and tattered mind
As memories of you I once more find
For you are to me the stars and Sea
Where once again, there you will be.
Forever in my heart just you and me.
As I join once more the stars and sea.
Thank you to Robert for the picture, which I penned the poem around.
