Arrrh!…. some Space-Time at last.

Thanks for your patience every one, I will get around to catching up with everyone over the weekend break… Its nice to be back after my vacation, and what a fantastic place Austria is.. The people are friendly, its clean crips air, and the Views!! You think you’ve  died and gone to heaven.. Its good we have Holiday photo’s, because after a few days all those beautiful sights just become a blur in your mind.
Back to a reality check this week, as I went back to work. But what a welcome, first here on Spaces all the lovely comments and greetings, and then to go back to work to get Big Hugs, sloppy kisses, and to be told I had been missed by the service users within our support.  Each one asking how my holiday had been, and remembering to thank me for my postcards, which to my surprise arrived this time before my return. I had a wonderful time in Austria, in a place called Mondsee.
Mondsee (Moon Lake) is one of the warmest lakes in the Salzkammergut. Since Roman times, this crescent-shape lake has been named for the celestial body it resembles. The Salzburg-Vienna Autobahn runs along the south shores of this, the third-largest lake in the Salzkammergut district. I will post pictures of the views from the top of Schafberg Mountain,( one is pictured above right) you will see the surrounding lakes below it. And I have put Dragon Mountain ie- Drachenwand mountain. These mountain ranges rise up and surround the town of Mondsee and dominate the horizon.
I have been lucky enough to visit Austria three times now, once in the spring-time and again in Winter spending a fairytail Christmas there along with a snow sleigh ride through a forest on horse drawn sleigh. But this holiday there has to have been the most spectacular  with all the wonderful views of Lakes and mountains.
And the meadows were just as you see them the flowers grow every where, even in the crags in the mountains,  I felt very at home in the mountains, and especailly connected with Drachenwand Mountain.
The Story of Drachenwand mountain is that a Dragon lived in the mountain and watched from high the goings on in the Town of Mondsee.. This Dragon thought himself to almost human, and fell in love with a girl he watched daily as she went about her chores. She would go and clean the church.. The Dragon fell in love with this lady from afar.. Until one day the Dragon saw his lady cuddling the priest, and he got so jealous he flew down and swoop her up to bring her back to his mountain. But over the years his lady love had put on the pounds!, and had become a little heavier than he had thought. So as he lifted her up to fly away, he lost his grip of her, and she slipped from his grasp, he flew to grab hold of her again, but  he miss judged the mountain -side and he flew into the mountain leaving a huge hole ( which measures 18 metres across) as he and his love flew into the mountain leaving the impression it is said of the large bottom of his fair lady ….. Lovely story..

Each of us, carries within us the capacity to change the world in small ways for better or worse. Everything we do and think affects the people in our lives, and their reactions in turn affect others As the effect of a seemingly insignificant word passes from person to person, its impact grows and can become a source of great joy, inspiration, anxiety, or pain. Your thoughts and actions are like stones dropped into still waters, causing ripples to spread and expand as they move outward.. I hope that I can send a few ripples out via the web of life, as we each of us weave the threads together... Welcome to my Sanctuary of Peace and Love... May we each spread our Lights around our World....Sue Dreamwalker
