Fragility of Life

Do we really understand the fragility of Life?

Have we ever thought of consequence and all the Strife?

So we can run around in cars and have our pretty things

Have you ever thought of all the pain we Human’s bring?

Have you ever considered just how you’d feel if orphaned you were left

As your mother became a trophy with her skin stripped from her chest?

Did you never spare a thought for the Ocean and her depths?

A dumping ground for all our waste no longer we respect,

And have you thought how hard it is to find enough to eat

When driven from your home

Have you ever wondered how far that you would roam?

And did you never think as the Ice melts in your drink

Of the Polar Bears home that in the Ocean sinks..

It’s time to understand that we cannot turn away

For we are each responsible for the world we live today

We humans have tipped the scales as we destroy with tools of greed

It’s time to re-awake and replant a caring seed.

Today generation don’t see the damage being done. Government create lies and the people believe. Each day one plant or creature is gone forever. I pray for common sense. One planet and one people. We must protect nature and her creatures. Photos broke my heart.

Many thanks John for commenting, Yes so much still to do, and yet I see so many like minded people now coming together and supporting change… We each need to be more aware of our living habits… For Mother Nature will soon show us what its like to be on the receiving end very shortly if we no not change our ways.

I do think about it, like you. I live in a suburban/farming community where part of the people are very concerned about the growing human population on the earth and wildlife and the other ignore it completely.

Yes LSF I feel many are now becoming more aware especially those who live closer to nature.. And gradually those in cities are also seeing and viewing the world outside their own particular narrow view boxes in which they have lived so long!

We really are causing quite a bit of harm to our planet, and it’s not even confined to the planet any more. We have more “junk” floating around in space than you’d believe, including nuclear reactors and bags of garbage released from space stations.

Sometimes I find human beings to be one of the most magical creatures, but at the same time, as intelligent as we are, we can be rather stupid and irresponsible.

Yes you are so right my friend, we pollute nearly everything we touch… and we need to shake our ideas up as to how we live in harmony with nature before we get shaken up in return… Thank you gerowen for taking the time to visit, its nice to see you here.

Hi, sorry for the absence. A remarkable resonance of drumbeats! I was also shocked recently at the wound of a tree on the street which was cut a branch of it. As long as we live we would hurt the nature, but we should not cover the ear from it crying.

In a word Val…. Nature will force us to stop…. because if we do not change then nature will teach us some harsh lessons as we will be so busy trying to survive we will not be buying and selling… But we will be trying to live with the elements .. We are seeing now those weather changes all over the world.. We are seeing too how many fish, dolphins, birds, and other species are taking Mass exodus from this planet….

We are not immune… and we cannot keep cutting down rain forests, polluting our oceans, over fishing, adding chemicals to the air and ground, meddling with Seeds in Genetic Engineering so that seeds need chemicals to germinate ..
The Bees are already in decline.. if the bees go, our pollination of the food chain ends..

While I try so hard to remain positive in my posts.. I do so worry for our next generations at what a world we are leaving them to!

Yes Red, I try to remain positive as I aim for positive posts to uplift.. But these issues can not be swept under the carpet they are not someone else’s problems they are ours..

We are all of us contributing to our environment, Each day we buy goods just how much packaging do we throw away? Are we recycling enough? do we use environmental friendly products?
I am as guilty as the next person.. because its how we are in our modern day world, But I am seeing and trying to improve my habits, and if everyone thought just a little along those lines we each send a signal out to the world..

Many thanks Red.. Love and Hugs back x

I Know and understand exactly how you feel VK… For a time my heart broke … But I have come to understand even the transition of our animal kingdom is all part of the process of change as we are all of us interwoven with each other…..
We still have much to learn and a long way yet to go.. But at least my good friend we know that there are many more people now-a-days who are becoming aware of the plight of our planet and how we have abused and are destroying our very own habitat.
We have to care and be detached at the same time, knowing that we are already within the plan of the Universe… But detachment is easier said than done…
      Sending you Blessings DW

We that were given dominion. What does that mean? HE that created all things gave us that were created in His image and likeness a charge as well. What was it?

      http://www.openbible.info/topics/dominion

Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”

For me Sam we are all here upon this Earth, we are supposed to be the most intelligent of the species. This Image of God depends upon how you perceive God For a long while I perceived God as portrayed as a child of a wise old bearded man sitting high up in heaven upon his throne..
My Perception alerted as my knowledge expanded.. To see we are all upon a journey of expansion, Learning, and if we look to our Animal kingdoms we see they do not Kill for the sake of killing, the only kill to survive.. We however to say we are ‘intelligent’ Kill for pleasure and for gain.. and care not for the land we also are killing as we plunder it for gain…

We are I feel were created in this image to explore this beautiful realm called Earth which how ever it came into being to me is a Living Library whereby we are equal. We all have our various parts to play in the evolution of our planet and ourselves spiritual progression.. We are stewards, custodians of this planet, this is what I think was meant by the statement

And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”

But our Ego rules and we think we are greater than the animals.. when in fact often we become lesser in our actions in my own opinion Sam… We have much to learn from Nature, and I think she will teach us a great lesson if we do not alter our ways my friend..

So good to have you comment here Sam.. :-)

A terrible indictment portrayed in a beautiful way with heartfelt words echoed here by others. Breaks my heart too Sue. What worries my is that we have sent out too many messages that we do not care and if the Universe responds in kind are we too late? Love David.

I have to believe its never too late to change David.. Our ways need to alter, the dye is cast, and we are reaping what has been sown,.. We will have to reap that and learn from our experience.. But the more and more who come to an understanding that we are each responsible and its not someone else’s problem its ALL our problems then the more hope I have..
We are each adding our collective thoughts to the mass consciousness and with each fresh thought adds yet more light to the end of our tunnel…
But Nature is already speaking to us, and is already crying her tears… Nature will always heal itself eventually but whether or not she wants to continue with mankind upon her back is another matter all together.. :-(
And One thing we should all think about because David our lives depend on Nature right down to the insects ..
Blessings and thank you for adding your thoughts

Yes mainly because the Media I know reminds us daily of all our flaws… And yet I also know there are also those out-there who do so much to heal this world and our animal kingdom,, We have many whose untold stories of selfless giving are never brought to the fore… Why? because Good news doesn’t sell News papers… But the Earth Mother needs everyone now to send her those healing thoughts…

A lovely expression on sobering statistics. You made a good point…good news doesn’t sell newspapers. So, what if we’re being fed a lot of twisted information and our planet isn’t as sick as we’re being led to believe. What if we all collectively started thinking that our planet is totally fine and capable of healing herself? Would she then be fine? Does the power for wellness lie within our positive thoughts?

Just thought I would throw some questions out there… Always wondering to myself. As always, you bring up some good points to ponder.

Yes the POWER of WELLNESS is within our very thoughts Gayle.. We are each of us contributing to the Sickness of the world by our thinking and our actions.. and just as easily we can Think it Better!

I thought you would agree with that, Sue. So instead of the worry and fear that we hold onto about the state of the planet…just think differently…that She is well…She is happy…She is abundant prosperity. Ah, doesn’t that feel better just to think it?! It works!

Peace and hugs to you… :)
